The sakurda deer gingham jsks are a great recommendation. I have the light green in 2x and it fits my 101 cm waist and my 112 bust pretty comfortably. I like it that feels movable and not to stiff. So I would recommend if you wanted to look for a dress to review. It comes in several colors.
that flatlay funeral is everything, loving yr vids so far, and as a straight-sized, actually quite short lolita (im Pilipnx, so that's common xD) i learn quite a bit from yr videos what the _real_ struggle of plus-size lolita is like, and I rly appreciate the insight and sharing.
I've heard very good things about the Taobao brand Alice Girl from other plus-size lolitas, but I'm not entirely sure how swole-or-tallita friendly, so perhaps this would be neat to check out! No particular dress, but just the brand.

I agree with your assessment of this dress. If the bodice was 4 inches longer it would have looked adorable. As it was currently sized, it reminded me of the babydoll nightgowns my mom bought me as a kid. What looked totally adorable on my sister who was 4’11 and a size 3 made me look like She-Hulk, all I needed was a green face.
When you ask alot of lolitas about first joining the fashion they'll often tell you to just go to lacemarket and find a cheap dress to see if you'll like it and they just don't understand that I literally can't do that. I was fortunate to have a more seasoned lolita mentor me and I bought my first dress via taobao. It was about $100can and from the brand hardcandy. Im 130cm so alot of the cheaper "plus size" options dont come in my size
