The zippers in your other dress looked like an invisible zipper. They might feel more flimsy, but they are more used in clothing due to it being, as the name says, invisible. They are usually about the same price point, but the quality might differentiate based on the manufacturer.
@@irinalemos They're very annoying if you live alone and there is a long one in your dress. Regular zippers have a hole in the end and you can hook something through it and pull it up all the way by yourself. This is much harder to do with 'invisible' ones.
Lor, that coord is everything I want my fashion to be. I'm a big history geek and I love anything with a fantastical, folklore theme. I also love pairing dark, rich colours (like bordeaux, emerald, navy etc) with creams and ivory, it just feels so regal and powerful. It is one of my favourite aesthetics.
I feel like what I'm about to say either cheapens the brand or makes it seem as if I'm mocking both lolita and cosplay - none of these are my intention, I'm both a lolita and a cosplayer, and I'm fascinated by the aesthetic of Miss Danger! ... all that being said, this style gives me big Pokemon Sword and Shield vibes, and I could imagine wearing one of their dresses in a Sword and Shield OC kinda style. You know what I mean? I really hope I didn't come off as rude or offensive by saying that! xxx
So glad you did a video for their brand. I've never heard of them before and the style they create is very much up my alley. I have wanted to get back into lolita again but like you said these styles rarely come with extended sizes. The looks you came up with were perfect!
And oh god Russian post tapes Thanks God package has arrived x) Alyonka chocolade is kinda one of the main classic types, and apple thing is kinda related to marshmallows but made of apples, if I correctly understood what is this)
I am awaiting a dress from them (it takes months, but looks totally worth it) and I am so excited to see this review! It makes me feel better about spending my money on myself!
5:44 yes!! what is the deal with stupid tiny zippers in lolita? i have such a struggle getting them fully zipped up all the way over the seam. good on Miss Danger for putting real zips in their dresses!!!
That dress is gorgeous and I really love your second look! Heavenly Bones was my top tier dream dress and I was so thrilled to get it in the re-release
Great review! However, it is a mistake everyone does. Usually in lolita hidden zippers are used. It is actually not cheaper than usual zippers (no, it is more expensive and more difficult to sew), it is used because when closed it looks like there is no zipper at all. And it also makes more beautiful lines and follows better the dress silhouette.
Loving the high fashion nods Miss Danger has and how their pieces can be easily mixed with other styles. The fabrics and finishing are *chefs kiss* and give me Mary Magdalene vibes.
The coord with your black hair is stunning, it reminds me of a playing card! Real Queen of Hearts vibe right there, I LOVE IT! I would love to see you focus more on independent brands out there too, I’ve heard of Miss Danger but didn’t know a lot about them until you posted this video. Thank you for sharing!
*chefs kiss* *chefs kiss* *chefs kiss* this is an amazing dress and I LOVE how you styled it. The coord outfit portion looks amazing with the snow and the sword. And YOUR MAKE UP IS SO GOOD. Just all so elegant.
Wow omg I just happened to be on your channel to see you post right away! This is so exciting I’ve been getting back into Lolita recently but I’m really tall and curvier so this has been a bit of a road block for me
My favorite was the 2nd look. They were both beautiful but the second look was something I would have never even considered and It all came together so well with the blonde wig and crown! You really captured the beauty of the dress!
I've been getting back into watching Lor after a year or so of not consuming much lolita content, and this is officially my new favourite video. Lor, the energy you bring to your uploads is awesome, and it's really nice to have something to relax and laugh to that's also focused on such a niche interest. Thank you!!
You look so pretty omg that blue wig looks STUNNING! 😭💕 Also I love that dress so much your coordinates are always so pretty I can't wait to see how many ways you wear it! 💕💕
I would love to see you talk a little more about fit and sizing in review videos like this. I wonder if this beautiful dress was made to measure or of it is one of their general releases? It looks like it runs a little large and has a lot of "extra" space around the torso especially the neckline and shoulder area. Just to know what size to pick if I am ever to buy from them and if I should size up or down.
I'm wondering if the printed (?) pattern was inspired by Russian embroidered and painted patterns from the 19th century or somewhere around that time which makes an expert immediately identify it as (traditional) Russian 🤔 (and the that ornamented pattern makes the dress even more beautiful!)
That's something I really appreciate about this brand, their aesthetic is so uniquely their own and recognizable as being from Russia. I love seeing how the fashion can be expressed in so many styles.
i’ve been in love with this jsk since i saw it for the first time, it really does not fit my wardrobe and i probably wont ever actually own it but i really want to buy one of their shiro pieces someday
AHHHH YESSSS! Miss Danger is one of my favorite Indie brands! I hope to own some of their dresses one day! So excited to see you wear one and talk about their brand!
I have been watching your channel for years now And I’m not in the community at all but I adore the fashion. I never saw myself wearing Lolita dresses mainly because while they are awesome it’s not my personal style. I’m more gothic and more academic witchy if that makes sense. I might have to look at miss danger because she seems to be trying to tap into that classic aristocratic look to bring people in who are not as into pastels and bright colors but dramatic reds and blacks which is more into the gothic theme without the pastels and less purple which sometimes spooky dresses do and I like but are still too bright for me. I would sooner love a deep purple dress that makes me feel like I live in a castle.
Hello! Yes, we have jackets, vests and shirts which are unisex and fits for men, also we are preparing special patterns for men and going to show it soon.
I really want to start a lolita closet, but I don’t have much room (small room, messy, too many clothes) and my family doesn’t have a lot of money. Does anyone have advice?
1) I know it's tempting but don't buy dresses from Aliexpress/Wish/Amazon, unless you know they are official (taobao/*insert brands*/bodyline) resellers/it's the brand official account, like I know there's a brand who also sell their stuff on Amazon (I think it's Infanta but I'm really not sure), and there's a reseller on Aliexpress who is an official reseller for some taobao brand (I need to find the shop's name because I don't remember it). 2) There's Taobao resellers that have their own website (like devil inspired and glitzy wonderland) but some are just selling Milanoo dresses (aka replicas and really bad/poor quality dresses) (like my lolita dress dot com (I'm typing it like this in case it could transform in a link)) and between devil inspired and glitzy wonderland I would recommend the latter more because DI is known to mark up their products prices a lot and GW as world wide free shipping. 3) As you want to start a lolita wardrobe, I would suggest really looking into what style you want to wear and finding pieces (like blouses/tights/accessories) that could be wear with different dresses, so you're not buying another whole coord when you want to get a new dress. 4) If wearing the same thing over and over doesn't bother you, I would suggest buying more OPs because you don't have to wear a blouse underneath it, but if you prefer to style your coords differently (nearly) each time you wear it, then JSKs could be more your thing as they can be styled on a wider spectrum then OPs. 5) I know what it's like to buy a new garment and then never wearing it, so before you buy a new thing, ask yourself if you would actually wear it, if you would be comfortable enough to wear it multiple times or if you just like it on someone else but maybe won't on yourself.
Rather do one coord well than have 10 chords that you don't love or have space for! I'd suggest you make an album or pinterst board filled with things you love. Looks for themes/colors/similarities that stand out. Try pinpoint what that common thread is (its could be board like a color pallet or narrow like a certain sleeve shape) and focus on that. Look at various one dress styled X ways videos/posts to give you inspiration. Find an affordable dress you love that can be worn different ways and build up from there. Hope that helps ❤

3) As you want to start a lolita wardrobe, I would suggest really looking into what style you want to wear and finding pieces (like blouses/tights/accessories) that could be wear with different dresses, so you're not buying another whole coord when you want to get a new dress.
