Hey Jason i got a couple questions. Im doing a plyo ball program and my velo went up alot through 4 weeks but then plateaued. I train like a athlete and am pretty strong in the weightroom. I think my radar gun is off alot just from watching videos online of people getting their throws measured with a radar gun. I have cinderblock and poor lighting down in my basement is it possible that my gun is off a lot? Not saying im throwing 98 with plyos but i feel like im upper 70s maybe mid 80s?
It's possible and I don't think the basement has anything to do with it. Velocity has many factors involved and shows up unexpectedly sometimes. You height, weight, strength, flexibility, age, eating, rest, etc. all play a part in throwing velocity. My thoughts are to start a different training program or payern to break the resistance you are having. Doing the same things over and over again the body can build up a resistance to it. Hope this helps. 🙏
@@SolitarySoldier honestly you might try to take a week or two off of plyo balls to get a nice reset and then come back to them and see how that goes and just focus on your strength training and athletic movements for the next couple of weeks
Get the 9 week throwing velocity and training program available here: Thanks for all the support everyone.

At what age would you recommend introducing a sinker? Does it put similar stress on a kids arm compared to spin like curve/slider?
It's just a fastball variant. I have some videos on it under the pitch grips play list buddy. Great pitch to learn.
@@ARMPitchingDevelopment Thanks for the response. Will check them out!

@@ARMPitchingDevelopment thanks for reply, should I change my plyo ball throws and substitute them to get a different stimulus?

@@ARMPitchingDevelopment wont I lose velocity if i stop with plyos 1 or 2 weeks?
@@SolitarySoldier no not in that short of time
Hey coach. What age do you think you should start kid pitch. Our league does it at 8 but there is also a league that starts at 10.
8 - 9 - 10 is fine to start fundamentals. Some guys will take to it easier than others. Just remember it's a process and takes time. 🙏
