Stunning armies. Isn't deepstrike a decent delivery system for the Dark Angels (say for 2 terminator units), gets them up the board and in charge range on turn 2 ?
Thank you! It can be for the Terminators, but I think this was more interference to Azrael and the Inner Circle Companions as they don't have Deep Strike so are quite slow and exposed walking up the board, perhaps an Impulsor to give them a bit of protection! :)
@@TwoandaHalfWargamers Ah, I see, slow combat bricks like that are hard to use against an enemy that stays away from them. Best is to place them near a central objective that the enemy needs to go near and if they decide to make a dash for the enemy side do it on a turn when you reveal and move aggressively forward with everything.
I'm still a noob, only got 10 or so games in. Would better deployment have helped in turn 1? It seems like there were an awful lot of opportunities for a shooting army like Tau to get at turn 1. Im asking so I can fix my own mistakes. 😊
@@markxivlxii1390 it’s hard to say as for this board there was little cover in the middle, and deployment too far back would mean a couple of turns just walking forwards. Also if the Dark Angels had first turn then it would be the same shooting lanes firing back at the Tau! Hope that helps, thanks for watching :)
Good looking out but it was mentioned super briefly, the lion got enough wounds through to kill the two drones and finish the ghost keel. It's the sort of thing we would normally forget though to be honest 😅
Andrew here, I said at the start that everything has the inner circle key word... But as it turns out the Lion doesn't 😅. Don't ask me why he doesn't!
Great to have a new bat rep from you guys. Looking forward to watching this later. Board looks amazing!
Hope you enjoy it!
Beautiful armies on both ends
Thank you! :)
Love the yellow tau army. Its beautiful
Thank you! :)

Nice intro!
Thanks!
You both forgot that the Ghost Keel can make an attack zero damage twice a game so....he would probably be alive

@ I forget myself sometimes as well! It was a good game with beautifully painted miniatures
37 points in round 2... jesus
Yeah it was a very good draw of cards to the T'au in this game!
