College football being almost an exclusively spread offense game has drastically worsened the development of these QBs. Easy reads, freedom to be an athlete, that’s NOT the NFL. No wonder these rookie QBs are struggling so badly the past few years. Stroud, Herbert, Burrow are such rare cases, not the expectation.

Any team that loses their starting QB is almost like losing 3-4 games. The seahawks have an easy schedule for their first half of the season so I wont believe they are solid until later in the season.
Caleb Williams is not that good. Did he win any championships with USC? Caleb and Bryce Young are two of the worst quarterbacks in the NFL. Even Uncle Rico from the Raiders is better.
Interesting thing about him at USC: we talk a lot about his defense being bad and being able to hand wave away any criticisms of his overall performance. Jayden Daniels had *probably* an equally bad defense with a significantly harder schedule and looked way better than Williams last year. What ever happened to that guy I wonder
