I’m new to Tekken in the sense of taking it serious and improving on the fundamentals.
I’m hard stuck…I’m Garyu and almost get to Shinryu but I find myself losing to other Garyu and up to Mighty rulers…it’s because I can’t stay focused and I auto pilot
My Mighty ruler friend says that I’m high Tenryu but he tells me I’m trying to play Tekken 7 and not 8 which confuses me, I’m convinced I’m not that good. You gotta understand learning 32 characters is incredibly difficult and I feel like my friend thinks I’m better than I think is cause I know how he plays but we main King and he plays king as and does things a lot differently than me and says I need to grab more but every time I play like him I get absolutely wrecked.
You have to form your own game play style and incorporate things you see other players utilize effectively on your main.
Best feeling in Tekken is downloading an opponent 😂

so, do you think they could have done better with teaching people more optimal combos with the games own built in combo tooltip tool and letting people add their own strings to practice and maybe even community shared strings instead of just giving people another combo challenges like tekken7?
