at 14:40 the answer of x is incorrect. the x plus 201 should be equal to 360, but 107 + 201 is not 360. i totally appreciate the help, but i wish it was more reliable. im wondering if i can rely on this video for notes or if i need to scratch everything i just listened to :/
Hi. I have chord of known length on a circle of known radius. Those are my only 2 input values. Can I calculate the related arc length intersecting the 2 endpoints of the chord? Chord length is > zero and less than the diameter. I am unable to measure any other vital information. Thank-you.
2.36 . possible confusion you have put 120 and the degree symbol . this is a length as I understood from you . can clarify? thanks for the videos really good
Thank you for the comprehensive work-out. I suggest that you use a lot more algebra in the solution process. Set up an equation in x and solve every time. All geometry students already have algebra skills and must be coaxed to use those skills as they move forward to pre-calculus.
This is amazing explanation! Thank you so much for explaining circles in simplest terms. My teacher likes big words and weird formulas so this helped me understand the basics!!! 🥀 I have a Eoc next week so wish me luck! 🖤
I hate it when people use just X and a number when explaining these concepts that can get really complicated It would be nice if they solved harder problems
Thank you so much. I am teaching Geometry next year and I always hated it. This helped so much. I am going to use your coloring scheme. It made it so clear.
@riotkiller27 -- Nope, even the short TV shows are 30 minutes in length! Best to deal with it -- especially when she does such a great job working the examples!
Assume unknown arc length as x. (x+80)/2=100 by using the theorem . Then cross multiply and u get x+80=2*100 Then subract 80 on both sides to get the value of x
This is so useful and helpful!!! My teacher cannot explain worth anything, and this video helped me understand the whole concept :) THANK YOU!!
looks like alex suzuki
cool name though!

thank you so much for this video! i have a geometry exam tomorrow and this really helped me prepare.

jenny 19 ikr lol
jenny 19 same I have a unit test
yea I did too super relatable
your cramming
Love from 🇮🇳 , you are amazing!!
How can an arc length be a degrees? Its either a lenth measurement or its not a length. ????
Awesome job here, Suzi -- thank you for working so many examples! - best regards, Bill

You’re a legend. Keep up the great vids; you’ve saved many students’ math grades.
My geometry final is tomorrow and my teacher taught me nothing this is saving my life
You just helped me so much 🙏🏾🙏🏾thank you
Good afternoon, on the part of secant and tangent, you stated that m
Many thanks for your sharing!
In practice letter b. Larger arc (201) and smaller arc (107) were not equal to 360. Any explanation?
Yes that's an error cause the numbers she picked are wrong.

You're right i saw that too, it is incorrect.
Thank you so much this really helped for my exam tomorrow
Lol studying the morning before my geometry final on the way to school 😂 (geometry 1st period) Thank you!

How did u do?
@@imbored4821 pretty good bro, i missed two questions and it was because I forgot to switch my calculator to radians 😂

Hi mrs.mcfarlane
Wow you are so good at math😘
idk why I watch tutorials if I cheat on all my tests...
Ooft, Ur hard
thats what Im foing rn
Help?! I don't understand why she did 201-94 in 14:43 problem b. aren't we supposed to add them like she did in problem a with 52+56
tiny locaqutia it should be 56-52 since they don't intersect on the inside
She could just minus 360 to 201 to get the green one. Some of the givens were shit.
'Cause 201+x =360
but 201 + 107 does not equal 360 soooo is the formula she gave wrong?
Abby the formula is correct but her given is not
Thank you so much this was a life saver
I don't know about you guys,
But somebody's gonna pass an exam tomorrow at 9:30
i feel like she would be a fun math teacher...definitely a helpful one!!
How did you get 130 degrees?
serlatha jones 65 X 2= 130...
for b the sum of x and 201 is not 360... I feel really confused!
shes wrong that must be 360-201=159 to get the complete circle ALL CIRCLE IS EQUAL TO 360 so shes wrong even in D she still got it wrong
and 107/2 isnt 47 it is 53
53.5 to be exact.
My problem is how to get the arc if the measure of the angle 1 is the only one given
I have an SOL test tomorrow and this is extremely helpful! Thank you!

😍😍😘
360-201=159
47×2=94
201-94=107
107+201=306
201-159=42
Yep, she picked the wrong numbers.
like this video, its easy to understand.

I'm colorblind...
Didnt get the formula she was using
My doubt is not clear
You lost me when you did the 100 degrees multiplied by 2 and subtracted 80.
Mario Pro same idk why shawty put 80 there in the first place

You could've done 360-201. XD
That's right, i did the same, her answer is incorrect.
Can’t thank you enough, darling
