Man, from the bottom of my heart, i am a GCSE student, and i really dont think i would be anywhere without you. You are the most helpfull and littlerly amazing person. Thank you do much for your effort and dedication
thanks! studying for my geometry final and needed to brush up on these. your videos are always amazing and ever since i found your channel last year it has been helpful for chemistry, algebra, and geometry homework! thank you for making these videos for students like me who have trouble remembering things.
This was very easy to understand, and I like how it starts from the easiest examples to the examples that are a bit harder. My teacher had another meeting and was unable to discuss this to us, so this is a big help. Thank you!
Doing GED online through my local college and I am spending WAY more time learning through you than through their program's lessons -- which consists of no more than a 2 minute clip PER lesson. It's a shame but that shows just how awesome and thorough your teaching videos really are. I'm seriously considering dropping the online classes to study independently through channels like yours since I am getting very little out of the class as it is. I GREATLY appreciate you!
Amazing tutoring I watched your video on Algebra and it made me understand it better ( my mom forced me to learn :( ) Just like right now Edit: But it's fun learning math with this video:)
19:38 what if the d is placed along the lines of the circle and AF and DC is missing? Will I still use the chord chord theorem and should I use the secant secant theorem instead of the secant tangent theorem?
The problem at 10:28, I did it in another way. What I did, was I set x as DB. This made my equation: sqrt(9x)=12 If I were to solve this, I would get 16 as my answer. So, now we know that the length of the entire sequent line is 16. To find the length of DC we subtract 9 from 16 to get 7. Just another method.
Thank you! You helped me with my lesson.i had an example with two chords intersecting and the exercise required was not exactly as the examplein the manual so, thank you again!!!
MR. Organic Chemistry Tutor, thank you for an awesome video/lecture on the Power Theorems, Chords, Secants and Tangents/Circle Theorems in Solid Geometry. Memorizing formulas will help with finding analytical solutions.
The total length of that segment would be 8 (you add them), but the theorem states that if you multiply them together (a*b) then they will equal the product of multiplying the two segments from the other chord together (c*d)
Once you understand the concept of quadratics, it becomes very easy. However, if your understanding isn't up to those standards, which is fine, the problem becomes hard.
My teacher gave me activities and I'm having problem on the chord-chord part.... I followed the steps until having to factor them. The quadratic equation is x^2-24x+72 = 0 Is there a multiple of 72 that adds up to 24?
Afaik, of course they can be decimal or irrational or any positive real number for that matter. No one's stopping you. But they would make for long and tedious problems.
Hi! Thank you for sharing your knowledge! Can we use this video for our research as one of our sources? Surely we will greatly appreciate your consent and we’ll make sure to cite your video properly. Thanks!
this is really irritating me, I get how to do it but I am given stuff like x+2 and it is throwing me through a loop. What would you do in that case. I have solved my issue......

Thank you for these formulas, helped me in my homework
and thank you for telling the time.
Anybody doing a happy dance after finally understanding a week lesson with your teacher in a 23 min video.
Fantastic 👍👍👍
Very much so, test today anf this is the first time Ive understood it
Its just the fact that alot of people that became teacher's aren't that good at teaching
week??? this was a day for me

I have watched a good amount of your videos throughout the DLD experience. I would like to say, they really helped me and thank you for your time.!!!
Your lesson is very insightful and fun, thanks alot.
I think I never learnt this at school but def helps for uni prep. Thanks!
got lost when c became a and d became b
I'll leave a message capsule in here just in case I'll come back in here again in the near future because I am effin dumb
Cge...

I only found this helpful video in whole TH-cam thanks 👍👍
just got curious....
why are they called "power" theorems?
Do you have a video about this way of solving quadratic equations?
Thanks for saving my grades again

Yeah, this is another pretty good method, and it is much faster.
thank u so much for helping me pass in ma full paper again.thank u once again.but i would also wish if u had questions on income tax
You always help me in math things
From grade 8 and now I'm grade 10
your voice is so soothing lol
He’s definitely the best math teacher
i love this channel so much . thank you a lot
18:24 why did you change the signs?
Thank you for the big brain techniques
Absolutely a blessing
Thank you! You helped me with my lesson.i had an example with two chords intersecting and the exercise required was not exactly as the examplein the manual so, thank you again!!!
8:56 you blocked my brain
You're a lifesaver
U help so many people thank u
Very informativeee 👌👏👏👏
Well done! Thanks

This helped me a ton. Thank you!
Sir am so grateful to you. Plz do you have a work on linear programming
At 18:38 how come did x-8=0 became x=8 and x+12 became x=-12 when 8 is negative and 12 is positive pls explain to me thanks
That's what i thought im pretty sure the answer cant be negative
Thank you fine sir I can finally sleep knowing I can solve this type of problem
very nice and useful video,.
Great video!
Thanks bro i really appreciate ❤❤
this guy is better than khan academy
Thankyou so much this helped a lot
Thanks for the video 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
Thank you this helped me so much
What if the secant extends longer than the figure, will the 2nd external part be included in the formula?
For a•b=c•d. When they ask for the length of ab, would you add the two products or multiply them? (Say a=5 and b=3, would the length be 8 or 15?)
The total length of that segment would be 8 (you add them), but the theorem states that if you multiply them together (a*b) then they will equal the product of multiplying the two segments from the other chord together (c*d)
Luke Teichert thank you
13:12 why can't be the negative number of x be the value of segment CB?
Just think about it. Can you imagine a line being negative?
Great video!,
I just became an honor student because of this men and I swear my classmates really thought im a genius
Thank you for this video
Excellent and clear explanation thank u but the blue colour on black board is difficult for many to watch clearly
Wow thank you bro
6:53
WOW! bro i swear my mind is going to explode, bro wtffffff howwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww ?????????????
just a quadratic equation, ez af lol
Bruh its so easy

12:48 wait i dont get this part +20 and -5 HOW IS THAT 15 PLEASE HELP
20 - 5 is 15
the only reason why it motivates me to watch his videos is because of his voice wtf 😕😕😕😕🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤
4:00, you wrote the wrong posiitons for A, C and D and said somethign different from what you wrote @TheOrganicChemistryTutor
My teacher gave me activities and I'm having problem on the chord-chord part....
I followed the steps until having to factor them. The quadratic equation is
x^2-24x+72 = 0
Is there a multiple of 72 that adds up to 24?
It's a bit late but for anyone here, it's crucial to notice here that its negative 24 not positive 24
Really super👌
literally my 2nd math teacher
Thank you for everything but does it matter when to use t squared=es or t square root of es?
Thank You :))
THANK YOU SO MUCH!
thank u very much
Man! i still dont get it im dumb as hell.....
Imma download this sksksksk I HAVE TO REPORT THIS TODAY
13:27 plz name the theorem
Secant-Secant Angle Theorem
In the secant secant problems, is there a way to calculate the chords AE or BD?
I dont get the part when you need to factor the solution
Exactly what I needs
me watching this on 1.75 speed when like half of my assignments on this are due within 5 hours
I came from learning chords on guitar and learned math real fast hahahaa
😄😂😂
Is improper fractions answers allowed?
THANK YOU
Thanks a lot!
Thank you sir
My coming here cause I got finals and not knowing one word 💀💀
Of which class is this??
Is this kind of formula t^2= BC . BD you're using?
so case 2 is the special case of case 3?
How about when the intersecting s scants have things like 5x + 2
Bro why you need to find 4 in second theory? -8 +12=4 is it because ED is 4?
pagod na ako maging gr10
What if, in secant-secant, you need to find x but you can’t since it’s not factorable. What should I Do?
Quadratic formula
Thanks a lot
One question can chord segments be decimal?
Same question ugh
Afaik, of course they can be decimal or irrational or any positive real number for that matter. No one's stopping you.
But they would make for long and tedious problems.
Anyone else got a test tomorrow?
same

How did he got the a×b=c×d?
I think you just mistype the "ab=cd", it should be "ab=ed".
this is really irritating me, I get how to do it but I am given stuff like x+2 and it is throwing me through a loop. What would you do in that case.
I have solved my issue......
