This is the Toronto I remember when I moved here with my family. I came here about a year and a half after this episode aired. This city has changed a lot since then. Brings back a lot of memories!
Its funny that Conan films Toronto during one of the worst storms in Canada's history. You cant see a thing and it looks like a barren wasteland just like the stereotype ha ha.
Yeah you can't see all the buildings and landmarks. I live 2 1/2 hours north of Toronto so the whiteouts and barren wasteland I see those a bit more often between December and March!

The hotel Conan stayed at was the Fairmont Royal York. Known for being the most historic and upscale/high class hotel in the city. It has since been renovated to look more modern yet still have charm. I loved staying there just before the virus showed up in 2019.
toronto's city hall is also resident evil 2 movie's part where they escape on the helcopter to a void the bomb blast, you get to see every window shatter in the movie too :dD

If you're looking for more Kids in the Hall, they have a movie called "Brain Candy" and a mini series called "Death comes to Town" - both are really good. If you like Sam Kinison - check out Bill Hicks. He's one of the greatest stand up comedians of all time imo.
