These sound good! I've had the tofu shirataki. They're okay. My grocery no longer carries any shirataki noodles, anymore, though. The big mistake keto dieters make is as they lose the weight, they keep eating high fat. You want your body to burn YOUR fat, so you need to reduce the fat you eat, and replace it with protein. That's how you get those last pounds off.
The tofu noodles are amazing!! They taste amazing! They do not taste like chemicals!! If you rinse some boil them in a little little bit of water quickly and then pan fry them they are to die for
TYSM, Annie for the recipes; I absolutely adore Two Good Yogurt!!! I'm ordering the keto granola and ingredients as we speak. Thai noodles and salad look SCRUMPTIOUS as well.🥗🍜🥣❤❤❤❤
Great recipes! Wondering if you’ve ever tried Black Soy Beans? They’re high in protein and low in carbs and I use them as a black bean replacement. They’re so delicious and hard to taste the difference!
I like your style - you have a fun approach to teaching and seem relatable. Thanks for sharing, I'll give your recipes a try. 🤞 I can lose 40 lbs, too!
enjoyed the video.. you are so funny... I am now 55 and two years post menopause and have gained 10 pounds... I feel terrible and want to get rid of it. I have followed a low carb lifestyle for over 5 years now but like I said since menopause I have gained and can't get rid of it. Hope to watch some of your videos for help... ty ... 😂 the feta cheese made me laugh because i have the same issue. My teens open up new containers and they dont even check the fridge. Mayo. Yogurt. Cheese. Ragu. The list goes on.
These recipes look awesome. I wonder if the chicken salad would benefit from a wee bit of keto mayo or salad dressing. I pronounce the yogurt you mentioned like oik- ose (similar to oink ose but without the n) but but could just say oink 🐽 😂
Randomly found your videos and want to say they’re very helpful especially cause I’m on a high protein keto diet myself. Fun fact the yoghurt is pronounced ee-kos (means home in Greek which btw as a Greek I don’t understand why’d you name a yoghurt brand “home” lol)
I bought some noodles off of Amazon and they stunk and almost chocked on them, cause they would not chew up. I threw them in the trash, now I'm trying to make my own.
The high protein yogurt that one that you showed has more sugar though. They do have an option that's zero sugar but it doesn't have the protein. I can't do yogurt like that because it makes my lymphs swell and causes candida back up.
When you say they’re “not bad,” would you say that they’re “good?” If not, I’ll pass. I’ve had shirataki noodles before (different brand) and I agree that they’re slimy and stinky…sometimes even after you rinse and sauté them. I WANT to like them, but…🤢
I don't mind skinny pasta, either. But I rinse the bejesus out of them then put them in the skillet and sauté to dry them out. Once dry, I add a little liquid that "matches" my recipe and keep sautéing until the noodles have absorbed the liquid. Typically I'd use coconut aminos (or soy sauce) for an Asian dish, a little tomato sauce if you have some open or a squeeze of tomato paste and a drizzle of water for an Italian dish, or some chicken or beef broth for other dishes or casseroles. I just mix a bit of bouillon with some hot water for broth if I don't have any lurking in the fridge. Any liquid would do - just "match" what you're eating the noodles or "rice" with. The idea is to cook out the liquid they were in originally then replace that with a flavor you like. Works well for me and takes only a couple of minutes.
@@stephanieilluzzi7355 they’re a not so much slimy as slick. I drain them and pat them dry then add them to the hot sauce or soup. Whatever you’re making. They do have a bit of a rubbery texture but they taste good.
I try to keep my protein per meal at 20-25 grams. Definitely not above 30 grams. That's all our bodies can absorb at one time according to a study in 2018 that was published in the Journal of the International Society of Sports Nutrition. Eating more than that is hard on the kidneys because your body excreates it through urine. Also, it adds calories - if you don't burn it off with exercise, then it gets stored as fat.
I don’t know if the Oikos Greek yogurt is like their regular yogurt or not, but in Canada Oikos puts cornstarch in their regular yogurt. Yogurt isn’t authentic yogurt if there is cornstarch in the ingredients list. Real yogurt will be made with milk, cream, and bacterial culture. You really have to read the label. They are not the only company to start doing this. I make a lovely homemade cream cheese with plain yogurt. I made the mistake of buying a yogurt with cornstarch. Instead of having a creamy, spreadable cream cheese, I ended up with a very pasty feeling cream cheese. Not pleasant!
Interesting, I glanced through the comments I choose to read yours, I better pay close attention to my Greek yogurt, I stick to Liberte, PC, Kirkland and Oikos

Oh my gosh, your Thai Chicken looks delish! Definitely going to give this a go 😊. Great recipes Annie ❤
I love LMNT!
Can I make the yogurt in bulk to last a week?
Could you share the calories for your meals? Please 😊
I like to add LMNT to 40oz of water and add a packet of allulose.
How would you make a toasted cheese sandwich?
I need to gain. Should I eat twice as much?

Off topic but I would love to know where you got the pink sweater.
You should give Skinny Pasta a try. It’s not bad at all.

Al of your videos rock!
You crack me up😂🔥
Looks delish

Do you have a low carb pizza recipe?
Yes I do! This one: www.ketofocus.com/recipes/keto-fat-head-pizza-crust/
The stink is the added calcium preservative.
😀
OIKOS, Greek for house, and its pronounced EE-KOS.
Unfortunately the too good brand yogurt tastes nasty to me.
The crack is whack!🤣🤣
But high protein is not advisable; protein will become sugar; the best is good fats so the body will learn to burn fat
The latest research is showing that it doesn't convert over to sugar until you have consume over 50-60 grams in one sitting (one meal).
You look great🔥 ..sexy🎉 congrats
