Thank you so much for taking the time to make this video. Very interested in this, your video has helped me to take the plunge and buy it for myself and as a gift for others that I know value this kind of content. You can never have enough books! Especially these kind, in my own opinion. I'm on a journey of learning.
I did get this (paperback version) many photos are grainy/digitized but luckily most of the info is correct. I have an aunt who grew up mennonite and they used a lot of this info already i their daily life. One of my moms best friends (and my often babysitter) was also raised completely natural and I learned much from both of them. I am glad I bought the book but I wish the photos in my book were better quality so I can help my nieces and nephews learn more.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts. I bought this book and very helpful and happy with it. I refer to it everyday. I took her online diploma course too and on the path to a healthy life style.
I bought this book over a decade or two. A long time ago. Actually I just picked it up yesterday for the first time in many years. Been working on my spiritual self instead. But I have it when I need it. I keep myself healthy as possible by trying to stay away from poisoned food and don't take any of the systems medicine, prescription and shelf remedies. They all have side effects.
There are a lot of “diy’s” with little safety measures, use the wrong type of a particular plant/herb and don’t know how to prep their herbs/plants for better results. So yes a lot of practices are lost or unknown because of misinformation. For example when Europeans were first introduced to corn and how the mayans prepared corn for consumption, they ignored a lot of steps, took it home to Spain and got a lot of people sick because they didn’t properly prepare it. People flock to TH-cam and TikTok from people with no detailed or thoughtful information.
They're all different & some are better than others. Don't be deceived into thinking that store brands are strong enough. Most of them are not. Most of the best methods HAVE been lost. So, if you do find a good book, hang onto it & use it.

In my Apothecary book it has “tinnitus relief glycerite” Ingredients - Hops, 1 tbsp dried, Lavender 1 tbsp dried, glycerin 1/4 cup, distilled water 1/4 cup. “Combine hops and lavender in glass jar, pour in glycerin and water mixing ingredients well, seal jar for 2-3 weeks shaking occasionally, after the steeping period drain liquid through fine mesh or cheese cloth to remove plant matter, take 1-2 droplets up to 3 times a day either directly under tongue or diluted in water or tea. Store in cool, dark place. Use within 6 months for best potency” Hops - known for its calming effect on nervous system- helps relieve stress and anxiety that comes with tinnitus Lavender - anti inflammatory properties, help calm nerve irritability, potentially reducing tinnitus symptoms Glycerin - acts as preservative and helps extract the beneficial compounds Distilled water - used to dilute glycerin creating a balanced solution I need to make some of this myself. When I got pneumonia a few weeks ago now, I started getting ringing in left ear way more than I ever have and facial numbness on right side so my nerves definitely got messed with somehow. Hopefully this helps you

I feel like they where all lost during the 1970-2000 and they probably tried to get rid of it but also there is also people who just don’t do research
