I did get this (paperback version) many photos are grainy/digitized but luckily most of the info is correct. I have an aunt who grew up mennonite and they used a lot of this info already i their daily life. One of my moms best friends (and my often babysitter) was also raised completely natural and I learned much from both of them. I am glad I bought the book but I wish the photos in my book were better quality so I can help my nieces and nephews learn more.
Search up the info you’re trying to teach them on google. I’m sure they have better images

Thank you for the review. The cover looks floppy. Can you easily read it sitting on a couch or do you need the support of a table? I really find floppy covers practically problematical. Your thoughts please?
The book itself is sturdy enough to read on a couch, in a chair etc. The cover is thin, but that hasn't been a problem for me

@@overallfashion1039 I looked and it is mentioned in 4 different sections, discussing herbs that benefit, method of preparation and application. I have not tried these methods as I do not have this condition, but yes it is in the book

I have hundreds of herbal books, there are herb stores all over the world. Parents Grandparent all shared herbals . When were they lost ?
There are a lot of “diy’s” with little safety measures, use the wrong type of a particular plant/herb and don’t know how to prep their herbs/plants for better results.
So yes a lot of practices are lost or unknown because of misinformation. For example when Europeans were first introduced to corn and how the mayans prepared corn for consumption, they ignored a lot of steps, took it home to Spain and got a lot of people sick because they didn’t properly prepare it.
People flock to TH-cam and TikTok from people with no detailed or thoughtful information.
They're all different & some are better than others. Don't be deceived into thinking that store brands are strong enough. Most of them are not. Most of the best methods HAVE been lost. So, if you do find a good book, hang onto it & use it.
Lost to the general public, not those who live the lifestyle. It’s mind boggling how many don’t even know the basics. These books are a good start.
I feel like they where all lost during the 1970-2000 and they probably tried to get rid of it but also there is also people who just don’t do research

Sorry I don’t agree . The antibiotic that advertised when Nicole is talking about the book on the ad, it’s not even in there. And where do you find all of the herbs she mentioned. I bought the book haphazardly. I am sorely disappointed!
I don't know which ad you have seen or what herbs she has mentioned but the book is packed to the brim with herbs. I like it.
Doxycycline? I saw that on an advertisement also. Is it not in the book at all?
If there is a herb for "antibiotics" then that's the recipe for Doxycycline.
@Matt-pr7kw she is talking about Usnea, which has been compared to doxycycline. Usnea is in the book😊

For me a definite Yae. It is a good book. I would give it a 7.5 out of 10 as far as content goes. Content, based on price 9 out of 10. Good herbal books are very expensive ( sometimes well over $100 ) So yes, happy I bought it

Where are the recipes in the book?
It's more a "what to use for" description rather than recipes as far as I have seen. The assumption is that infusion, salve and tincture making knowledge is a given

These remedies probably did a lot to help with vitamin deficiency, when we didn't know what it is.
I'm pretty sure we had that knowledge but lost it over time. Hence the name of the book :-)

I prefer Rosemary Gladstar’s books at far cheaper prices and David Hoffmann. I’ve also come across Juliette de Bairacli. I prefer better quality paper and pictures.
Lost me at "herbs for cancer treatment". If herbs were useful for treating cancer, oncologists wouldnt prescribe chemo. I'm sure this book is a great read for gullible people though.
If you know anything about modern medicine you know that all medication originates in herbs and plants. Over time big Pharma have found ways to synthetically copy them without the need for natural ingredients. In addition bug Pharma has more interest in treating symptoms.
Chemo is profitable. Herbs aren't. "They" aren't interested in healing us. Cancer is a cash cow. Why cure it?
Maybe they lost the book in the first place because it's BS.
