- Probably the hardest data fight so far. His DM is very cool, but has some jank that can kill you if you get unlucky. Aside from that this fight might be my favorite. Level 53 Critical Mode.

Considering this is Riku controlling Data Sora, i’m just imagining Riku sitting in a chair with the serious Gamer lean forward, spamming the block button when Xemnas did his DM.

@@Pappa958 the song actually combines his ddd theme with his kh2 theme and part of a fight to the death. There was also a part that was similar to the darkness of the unknown part from the triple nort fight and that's all that I picked up on. Btw his dm uses the blue lasers from kh1.
@@filthyshrek101bc2 Actually, I think those blue lasers are just the "tell" that those are unblockable. (I remember seeing blue lasers in the Yozora fight as well, and just like here he always dodges those instead of blocking)
God *damn* the bullet cage is still one of the best visuals in the franchise.
And the blocking sound effect is just 👌
It really is something to behold. It's a simple concept but just...damn lol

@@IChainZI Thats one thing that was irritating when I fought Xemnas in kh2 on critical for the ps4. Kept taking damage on that part even though I was pressing reaction correctly.

I absolutely love how Sora gets stunned after dodging and blocking the last barrage of lasers. That shit would be so damn exhausting.
Even though I cant even begin to dream of attempting no damage runs, watching you do these really helps me figure how to get through certain phases on these fights.
Plus these are insanely entertaining to watch. Kudos to you!

kyle maltby He’s not impossible.. none of these battles are. I’m not a KH veteran of any sorts and I had a hard time with these bosses, but I spend over an hour or more with most of them learning their attacks and how to block them.. I managed to beat them all after 3 days. Saïx, Xion and Xehanort were imo the hardest.. Xemnas is tough but if you block him correctly it becomes pretty easy

The Xemnas fight is so cinematic. Most of the time we didn't even touch the ground. It was like some shit from Man of steel.

@@Twocoolman115 To be honest, discounting gameplay, KH3's story killed most of my personal hype for Xemnas.(While also somehow opening up another can of worms for Ansem that will sadly never be resolved because he's gone too)

Out of all the fights so far, this is the one I was waiting to see. His openings were rough in the main game, so getting to see where they were here was very appreciated (and well done, of course).

Well KH 2 has some really bad bosses too, but Xemnas has always been amazing imo

That laser dome is definitely a sight to behold.
That Danmaku moments were insane. And it's really creative in this game where Xemnas will assault you with his lightsabers and thorns, then comes to barrage you with his lasers which can really mess you up if you don't so much as simply block it lol
Definitely makes the fun yet equally a living hell to do, let alone a no damage run of it at that xD
These fights have been so helpful and an absolute pleasure to watch, keep it up :D

It's weird having a xemnas data battle where he doesn't yell "be gone" every 3 seconds
I enjoy this battle. It kinda feels like a good contrast to the Ansem Battle since Ansem spends most of his battle fighting you from a distance with his magic and can inflict ailments during his desperation attack, while Xemnas by contrast is a much more in your face brawl. Like he still has his lasers and the thorns but he mixes in a lot of melee and most of his attacks are based around melee.

I finally bought remind and I was looking forward to this fight. Might be my favorite out of all of them, the theme, the laser light cage, the fact that Xemnas is my favorite KH villan, and this fight actually felt “fair” in my opinion

This is the ONLY fight where I can actually hang with him for a few life bars. He had about 5/6 bars left and caught me with the laser dome attack because I missed my block. These fights are, at the same time, enjoyable yet extremely frustrating. I gotta learn some new strategies for these guys because I’m getting nowhere fast
Sora realized that blocking the laser spam is much easier than doing the cool reflect with Riku

That DM terrifies me, there's no reaction command that can help you this time around. You have to block it all by yourself.
It helps when you're in ultimate form. Hell, even light form cause of the barrier. It's tricky to dodge the blue ones , THEN proceed to block the red lasers. This fight is just pure combat and hate...then, Xion!
Xemnas is the best villain of this series along with Maleficent. A shame he is now gone.

theres no spamming it either you can literally just slowly alternate x and triangle

In one of the flash tracer minigames there is a chance you will get a special master medal with the ability stun protection on it, I use that for the desperation move

The description says he's level 53. A level 1 run is possible but the only thing that'll really change I bet is the length of the fight.

The Killer Critic that was a missed opportunity, they fleshed out the mechanics for the other heroes but only gave us one fight. They should have got a data battle each
During his DM, after u block his physical attacks, you can dodge roll or air slide then block again so that u don’t get pushed all over the map.
Definitely the most cinematic desperation move in the series. Only one that comes close is lingering will
I've just noticed that sometimes there are white lasers among the red ones during the laser barrage, and these seem to be unblockable. You're the first player I've seen getting no damage from it, yet it looks hard to dodge those white lasers without getting hit by an incoming wave of red lasers, I believe you must time your roll very well to evade the white ones and also get enough time to block the red ones. You go from block, to roll and block again in just a small window of time.

Curious question: What made you prefer using Double Form over the Ultimate Form? Is it simply because it fits your playing style, or there is a certain disadvantage in using Ultimate Form in these battles?
Ultimate Form has long/laggy animations. Double form feels much better while still doing good damage
@@WillJV2 And it’s way more bad ass! You can do these fights with no damage and without ultima. Watching you destroy with the oblivion and oathkeeper is awesome
