If ever you make this movie into a mini series for television, it would definitely be the best watched movie of all times in my home. Everyone did an outstanding job acting here.
The way she runs to get her grandson and then just picks him up and holds him. Breaks my heart every single time. This is the last piece of her daughter.
It's based on a true story. The real Shelby was called Susan, her brother Robert Harling wrote the screenplay for her son so he would remember his mum.
I love this movie and can quote this movie, but I can't watch it anymore. I had a daughter. She is now 26--and healthy and whole--but I just can't stand it. It's a wonderful, wonderful movie.
I have type 1 diabetes and wow! I’m glad Shelby had a baby, even though it cut her life very short. My dream was to be a mom, but couldn’t achieve it due to miscarriages and lack of suitable partner. I’ve had diabetes 40 years and now I’m 53 , with a life full of nothing special. I’d rather be in Shelby’s shoes than mine . If you can’t follow your dreams what good is life ??? And I’m suppose to be “ lucky”.
I'm 46 and have no children either. I also wanted to be a mother and I have type 2 diabetes. It runs in my family and I want to believe there is still a purpose for me to be alive.
I didn't know it was based on a true story! I love this movie and my heart is warmed by the fact that I share the same first name as the Real Steel Magnolia - Susan!
I feel the pain of losing my one and only daughter. I almost died the day she died. So not natural to lose a child before you. Then my only son died 6 years later of a heart attack. So much unbearable pain.
I once had a co-worker who was also what is sometimes referred to as a “Brittle diabetic” ( which basically means that they have a really hard time keeping their blood sugar levels under control) but as far as i know, her diabetes was as severe as Shelby’s was. Anyway,if you knew her well enough than it was to miss the signals that her guess but to miss the sign that her glucose levels were low because whenever she was having what what everybody referred to as a“sugar attack”,her eyes would look really spacey, she would become disoriented and if you tried to call her name, she wouldn’t respond. Also, she start crying really really softly. Anyway, whenever one of us noticed that her sugar levels were messing up,we would immediately start yelling for help and a supervisor would immediately respond and she was guided into the First aid room and someone would help her test her sugar levels and then would give her some juice and a snack and some one would sit with her until her blood sugar levels were back to normal again.
Blessings in an abundance of the faith. I salute you. 😘🙏🕯️ Grace and peace be unto you and to this place. ❤❤❤🤍🤍🤍🪝🌌🌟 Will you believe and receive Jesus Christ as your Lord and personal savior??? I do. Turn the other cheek. 😊

This movie will never get old. I could watch it over & over.
I’m 82 and only just watched this film, absolutely brilliant actresses (all of them) giving a beautiful performance.
This is my favorite movie
So much love in this film. I laugh, cry, and reflect every time I watch it.
Sally Field's funeral scene showcased her amazing acting ability! She also showed how great she is when playing Sybil.
My favorite movie ever!!!! Sally did amazing in this, she made me laugh and cry in this and so many other movies. Shirley did amazing as well. ❤

Why has so much of this movie been edited out? Unwatchable!
It's skipping parts
Fastest movie ever
Obviously this is not the whole movie.
It’s the Reader’s Digest version.
Noone said it was?
Blessings in an abundance of the faith. I salute you. 😘🙏🕯️ Grace and peace be unto you and to this place. ❤❤❤🤍🤍🤍🪝🌌🌟 Will you believe and receive Jesus Christ as your Lord and personal savior??? I do. Turn the other cheek. 😊
Its skipping parts..🙄
Well obviously, because it's not the whole movie but just a video of some of its parts...
Not the whole movie
Copyright.
@@rikibustervideoSome people can never be satisfied. Ignore the haters.
Either post the film in its entirety with English subtitles, or do not trouble yourself. Very misleading, this.
They can't. It's copyrighted and posting the whole thing would be infringement.
Nowhere it said that it was a whole movie. For me, it was clear from the title that this was just a compilation about Shelby and her Mother.
You can see how long the video is. How is it misleading?
Regalenmela en español gracias
