Abandoned Winter Ruins | An Unreal Engine Sequence

  • I based this sequence of scenes of Hebra Mountains, a region in the video game, Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Most of the assets were a mix of snow banks, cliffs, trees and more piles of snow. Many of the trees were made for forest scenes so I added birch material over most of them to give the illusion of the trees being covered in snow. It’s meant to look like a wide area of cliffs and dead trees covered in sheets of snow and ice. The poppies, shown in two of the scenes, represents life and adds colour to the mostly consistent colours of the sequence.
