I always found it funny how Logan managed to knock out Dukes with that elbow but Gambit not only stayed down for about 2 minutes, but he also came out unscathed. He should’ve at least ended up with a shattered nose

And if you notice when he stabs his hand when the cameras facing Wolverine the blades are facing down when it turns to Victor they are facing up
I would’ve made just one little change. I would’ve had Logan drag his claws down Sabretooth’s arm to inflict as much pain as possible.

Adamantium cuts clean,while bones pierces more roughly,it have to exert more force on the flesh for it to tear
@@metal_bender_ it's like a sharp stick and a knife, you'll feel the stick probably more present while it stabs into your body but the much sharper knife will make you panic more since it's more lethal and cuts more easily.

This is the Sabretooth i knew from the comics. Cold. Psychotic. And very aware of what he was doing. Not like the Tyler Mane version in the first x men movie, which gave Creed the excuse he wanted, that he was merely an animal.
The Tyler Mane was just as much a sadist but it more subdued and soft spoken way. You can tell when he got a grip on Storm and wants her to scream for nothing more than sheer pleasure
Victor devolved, the samething woulve happened to Logan had he not gotten the adamantium, in fact in a comic where Magneto rips the adamantium of his body Wolverine did devolve into a mindless beast but Jean grey used telekinesis to help him

@@themadtitan7603His healing factor basically reverts him back to his primal and feral roots. It's why Sabretooth is more animalistic. The adamantium basically keeps his healing factor occupied.
Gambit gets knocked out in the alley, next seen jumping from a rooftop
well yeah, he got knocked out about 20 feet from where Wolverine and Viktor were fighting. He woke up, went back inside the building, took the elevator to the top floor, backed up as far as he could and then ran and jumped off the side of the building. Makes complete sense, considering Gambits entire worry was going back, so when you see the guy you think is going to take you back, and he is fighting with another guy, you don't leave, you keep interfering with the fight.

The Adamantium coating actually reduces the healing factor a little. The healing factor has to work twice as hard to prevent the coating from poisoning.
That's actually a misconception as per canon.
Wolverines skeleton doesn't merely have an adamantium coating, it has turned into adamantium beta. A form of organic adamantium with the capacity to self heal like bones would. Although retaining all the qualities of true adamantium/ primary adamantium.
I don't remember Logan but his decline in healing had to do with the GMO corps that were designed to supress the X gene of mutants all over the world.

They were completely focused on one another, and not at all on him. It makes no sense for him to start attacking Wolverine, and to keep him from going after Victor. He should have just let them battle it out, and run away while the two were occupied.

Adamantium beta was an imperfect form of Adamantium which was constantly poisoning Wolverine and slowed down his healing dramatically. After magneto rips the metal from his body, Jean Grey used her telekinesis to literally hold him together long enough for his body to heal completely. Once that was done his healing was so weak that it took a few years for it to regain its full capabilities and was actually stronger and faster. Eventually he became the horseman of death for Apocalypse who rebonded Adamantium to his skeleton.

I like how before Logan’s procedure, Victor was pretty much tossing him around left and right and his bone claws weren’t enough to inflict significant damage. Afterwards, he not only has upped his attack potential by many levels, he’s also EXTREMELY heavier and overall more durable on the outside, which gives him just enough edge to really start sticking it to Victor.

I still wait for the day a Gambit film is announced. He's been my favourote X-men character since I was a kid, and I wish the film that was originally gonna be made went through.
He was about as useful as Jubilee though lol.

Even in the comics he barely stand-out and his solo stories are forgettable. Only things going for him is that his looks and powers are cool and his chemistry with Rogue.

Honestly wolverine is a pretty funny character, especially with Hugh Jackmans performance. I wish they had leaned into the comedy a little bit more instead of making the film so serious

You know this movie gets a lottt of hate but if you forget how they butchered deadpool (only relevant to some last couple minutes of the movie) its honestly one of the best xmen movies if not one of the best marvel movies in general as well
One of my personal favorites ill say that
Gambit gets knocked down. Then moments later, he somehow gets to the top of a roof to do a dive bomb
The movie makes you believe that the adamantium made him more agile and improved his healing factor, when it is the opposite.
Healing was roughly the same if a bit slower, agility was a bit off but in comparison to majority of other humans he’s still better at it.
It did increase his superhuman strength and a few other physical capabilities tho so that’s a benefit.
I really liked this Gambit, tbh
