I really like the sound, the fullness of the bass, the drums.. the mix...but there's a major rhythmic error in the main riff making this track useless :( !
@@ErnoSallinen The riff im talking about is the one that begins at the 1:02 mark, the time signature here goes like this : 4/4 for 3 bars then one bar at 5/8 , then it goes back to 4/4. Your version goes like this : 4/4 for 3 bars, then 6/8 then it goes back to 4/4. You add one eight note worth of time so the snare is just a bit late on the second attack. English is not my native language , but if you need more info don't hesitate.
I am well aware of this part. It actually doesn't go 5/8 or 6/8, but somewhere in between. I originally wrote the part exactly as it goes on the record, but while it sounds intuitive at the original tempo, it doesn't work at all at the slower tempos. I had to make a choice between two "wrong" options, and I chose this one because the other one felt rushed. Thank you for the feedback nonetheless, you have good ears! Feel free to point out any other potential mistakes you find. I will check them all out and make updates to the web store files accordingly :)
@@ErnoSallinen after a little bit of research, I can now confirm that the good timing is 3 times 4/4 then 11/16. Thank you for making me go nuts over this :P
It's wrong, the accent at the end of every 8 bars of the verse has to be there or it ruins the whole feel of the song. Technically speaking I believe that accented bar is 21/32. If you line this backing track with the actual recording it becomes a car accident before the first verse even begins because of the accent right before the verse begins. I appreciate the effort but it completely throws off my practice, especially on the guitar solo when the accents HAVE to be there to even play it right.
Indeed it isn't. This song has been recorded without at metronome and the tempo varies throughout the whole track. I chose to start the backing track at 212 BPM because it was closer to the overall feel than 211 and 213 BPM were. There are further tempo changes also :)

Best backing track ..the heavy bass line just makes it so much more heavy to play

This is pretty much spot on

Suggestion: Megadeth - Wake Up Dead
Thank you, I'll put it on the list :)
Moro Erno. Hyvä rumpali olet. Teetkö backing träkkejä tilaustyönä?
I love it ❤

Any requests for the next backing track?
I have a suggestion, what about Hit The Lights by Metallica?
Suggestion. Blacklist by exodus
This is a killer one! Thank you for the suggestion :)

Hi :)
What error are you talking about? If there truly is a mistake, I will fix it.

@@johnsams1388 @EmoSallinen according to my calculations it's actually 21/32 although 11/16 would totally be acceptable.
Cover recording with the backing track th-cam.com/video/i-W1Z49XRSU/w-d-xo.html. Thanks again Erno for a great backing track!
Great work once again! Keep 'em coming :)

I see you already noticed it, but for everyone else, please see the conversation under johnsams1388's comment :)
its not exactly 212 bpm
