Yeah and they don’t have space for modern skyscrapers 👌
I love the old European architecture this modern glass buildings are so fake they are supposed to be in Dubai. Thanks though for showing us
That’s great to hear. Europe is full of that old architecture and it’s full of history too. Thanks for watching 👌
This isn’t an area which had historical architecture. It was commie blocks which were more of an eyesore. In order for a city to maintain historic areas new areas are needed for growth and tax revenue.
@@stevemcgowenyes, true. The building there were super ugly communists blocks. But the problem was that Prague’s center is on the UNESCO list. And this means that from the centre you shall not be able to see any modern building… the communists never cared.. back then prague was just an ungly grey and gloomy slowly falling apart… and not yet under UNESCO, so they could build these concrete jungles
@@dudy Exactly. It's also why the V tower isn't visible from the centre. I do like the look of some of the communist buildings, though. Kotva, for instance.
@@stevemcgowentrue some are nice! I wanted to go to Kotva, but is under reconstruction now 😅
