IM ROLLING I JUST WATCHED THAT EPISODE
Reminds me of crypto when he calls them monkeys.
Sometimes when Zim is talking it sounds like a cat is walking across a keyboard in his head and autocorrect is turning it into words
The Character with the happiness probe, Nick, showed up shortly after Nickelodeon had been telling Jhonen Vasquez, (author of the show and so, so much more) to reign it in somewhat, and blocked some of his creative choices.
It was incredibly petty, and I love it
Wait till he sees gen alpha kids

I loved this show as a kid, and I still love it now!🤣
Same , every few year I'll literally go back to Visit . Comedy hold up so well. Watch the movie last . Also amazing
0:27 i honestly had a person like zim come through the drive through at tacobell
Presumptuous cab-beast
Should've included the first episode where Zim introduces himself as a human worm baby.
strong contender for youtube video title of the year award
I’ll prepare my acceptance speech❤️
how can someone so well adjusted create characters that understand hatred of humans so thoroughly?
i don't think we can call jhonen well-adjusted 💀
Jhonen's first succesful comic was "Johnny The Homicidal Maniac". That title alone should tell you he isn't well-adjusted, but he is certainly morbid and funny.
Back then the creator was more... jaded? Like bro, look at his earlier comics, like the heckin homicidal maniacs shiz. But after Zim ended and he just did other things. Time passed and while still having that sick humor and sharp artstyle, he became more.. uh, normal? Just better content with life I could say.
Jhonen is like Anno. His work started get more optimistic the less he started hating life
@@unusualusername8847 I mean Junji Ito seems pretty wholesome and fairly well-adjusted despite writing some pretty horrific stuff. Sometimes it really do be the nice seemingly well-adjusted people that come up with the craziest most messed up stuff.
i have never seen this show why does zim have my exact insult pattern
Check it out whenever you get the chance to
I’ll give him the benefit of the doubt since Zim is from a different planet or whatever
But I don’t like how spacisit Zim is
To be fair, all Irken are species-ist. They consider themselves incredibly superior to every other species.
I mean his entire home civilization is made up of an empire of xenophobic colonialists literally rampaging around the universe enslaving or wiping out every other race they come across…
'Spacist,' or speciesist?
I agree either way; I'm just curious because I can't parse it.
Wouldn’t it just be considered racism tbh? Since humans and Irkens are two different races. Or speciesism? I dunno.
@@skystormvullerschlecht4963 It'd fall within the broader term of xenophobia. Racism is more about bigotry towards subcategories within a collective (Humans is the collective species, race is one of our many subcategories alongside culture, nationality and whether we say it jif or gif). Xenophobia is about hating anyone who isn't from your own place which in this case would be Irk compared to Earth.
