HI mate! Im new to airbrushing and these videos have been really useful. I have the same compressor but when i set it to, for example 50psi, it just drops straight to 20! Do you know what could be causing this?! thanks!!
Hi There, Thanks for the comments, I normally run mine approx 25-30 PSI and would expect it to drop when using it, can only imagine the higher pressure being used is going to cause a quicker drop in pressure when using it. I am assuming that the pressure is dropping when you are using an airbrush, which is quite normal but should build up again quickly.
I have the FD 189 with the Three ltr Tank, bought 2nd Hand nr new Condition, what should it knock off at ? As it is it doesnt , is there Setting on it can be changed ? I dont have a Manual Unfortunately?
You can have a look either on Amazon in the description section or www.airbrush-fengda.co.uk/ I normally set mine around 20-25 PSI, sometimes differently depending on what I am spraying. The black knob at the front end can be twisted to whatever pressure you need. Normally you pull the knob up, twist it to your desired pressure then push it down to lock it, that is what happens on mine, yours might, might be different. Have fun.
