Tired of all the Michigan haters...especially those that call themselves Michigan fans. We won last week! We beat a really good USC team with one arm tied behind our backs. Can we beat Minnesota, Washington, Illinois, Michigan State, Indiana and Northwestern??? Of course we can. USC is better than all those teams! The Oregon and OSU games will tell us whether this team is a playoff team or not. Plus, I'm pretty sure Orji and the offense will get better with each week. We need to trust in this coaching staff! And stop whining and crying over stats that don't matter! Wins are all that matter.

As a Wolverines fan for 5 decades, I can safely say nothing makes U-M media and fans happier than trashing every coach and player on the team. If they win by 10 points it needed to be 20. If they win by 20 it should have been 40. If they pass for 300 yards "that's not Michigan football". If they run for 300 yards "YOU CAN NEVER BEAT OHIO ST. THAT WAY!!!!!". Ignore the whiners and keep enjoying the wins.

You mentioned the screen pass Yoder. I have wondered why Michigan NEVER runs RB screens. This has been true since Harbaugh took over as coach. This would be a great way to get Edwards the ball in space with two lineman blocking downfield in front of him
Or using the RB swing pass as a safety valve. Overthrow him to the sideline if it looks like a blown play.

put edwards as a receiver and mullings in backfield. orji pitches to mullings and mullings runs to the side edwards is on pulls the defense and passes to edwards

Kirk Campbell has been extremely underwhelming as an innovative play caller this season. I heard that he was some kind of offensive guru all off season. I haven't seen it at all

Put Mullings in the backfield and have Edwards line up and run tight end crossing routes. Every once in a while have him go in motion and jet sweep. Or drop him back as a second RB in the backfield

More than 60 passing yards. When the running game generates a big lead it’s a tray chance to practice the passing game. 2nd half should see a big shift.

BOSA! We have a lot of work to do to beat Ohio this year. We barely beat USC & Ohio is a lot better. We need to find our identity on offense & perfect. Our defense needs to blitz less and do the disguised coverages. We will beat Ohio but we have to work two times harder than Ohio to win & we will work two times harder 4:10

Absolutely this team should be running RPO on at least 50% of it's downs on offense. Use what you have to your advantage! This could be a dangerous team if they would RPO on half of their possessions.
I know. It seems like they are trying to stick to a pro style offense with occasional design QB runs. RPO would be the obvious way to get some open receivers down field.

The reason why Iowa was able to run against Minnesota was they're BLOCKING, just watch those dudes BLOCK, they are very good at it, Michigan's blocking is HORRIBLE. Most of those guy's don't block and make a half hearted effort. I don't know what coach is responsible for that, but he should BE PUT ON NOTICE!
Minnesota just gave up 272 yards rushing to Iowa. So, yes Edwards goes over 80 yards and they prioritize getting Orji some confidence passing in the 2nd half.
We got to improve our half time adjustments, improve our second half energy, get the Don more involved. We need to fix and improve a lot. We have a lot of talent but we aren’t at Ohio State, Texas, Georgia level yet. We had two second half collapses in a row.
We need to focus on the second half and get a full 60 minutes of dominance over Washington.
More than 60. Over 100 actually. We will get 1 long pass over 40 yards and we will hit Semaj and The Don in the flat and get some decent yards after catch to surpass the 100 yard mark.
Most offenses only run one back now and that really makes it hard to run an effective screen. Couple that with a WR group that isn't feared and the defense just has too many players who can stop the old school screen. With DE I think a swing pass or even a wheel out of the backfield would be effective and I think it is a pass Orji could start with to build his confidence. Might see one this weekend.
Quick PA and RPOs with roll outs help as long as you have a man beater with a zone beater on each play setup with motion to help the QB diagnose where to look. Orji needs to move to stress the D and force them to make a decision that’ll open something up. These receivers aren’t getting open on their own.

I played sports for years, sports where you run and run and run, even into my 30s, and never once pulled a hamstring. How does it happen to players at this level? I always stretched pre-game and I know they do as well. Crazy

Michigan played one bad game where the offense turned it over several times. If they come out and run the ball like they should have and kept the Texas offense off the field they might have looked a lot better. They still have one regular season loss over the past three seasons and that is really really good.
I believe they are saving two runningbacks on the field for bigger games down the stretch

We need to rotate more guys in the offensive lines & on defense to keep them fresh for second half. We need better 2nd half adjustmentz

(140-170 passing feels like minimum that any elite offense ought to produce even with 200 yards rushing). Hard to rush for over 200 - without multiple big fit misses chipped in by defenders.
