I bought this one , If ur thinking of a bible to purchase this is the one for you..It’s so easy on the eyes to read ,I can’t say enough good things to say about this bible. The only drawback for me was it was not a red letter like I’m use to having, However after reading bible for over 37 yrs I have a good understanding of The Who is speaking without the red letter I’m just use to having that. Other then that you won’t be sorry you got this one ☝️ Be blessed Brother and sisters 👯♀️. Amen 🙏
This is the one I bought ,and I’m so pleased with it , You couldn’t ask for a nicer bible for the money 💰 i’m in my late 70s now so the comfort print is excellent on the eyes...
This Bible is amazing. The only thing I can think of that would make it better would be adding the Translators to the Reader. The definitions of words in the center column plus the amazingly readable font put it at the top of the heap IMO, at nearly half the price of the competition. Thomas Nelson is on fire.
I just purchased a wide margin bible. Want to translate phrases and use a older webster for definitions strongs and other helps also. Most bibles dont really help much on archic words. Now i read from kjv and go down line to help on interpretation. Nkjv, nasb, niv, nlt, message.
@@BibleBuyingGuide shucks, thats okay, I still like the Black one they offer. Probably end up getting it, just love the way it looks on the inside! Thank you for replying!
Hey, I have a question for you.. hope you have the time to please provide me an answer - I just bought a Super Giant Print KJV Bible from Thomas Nelson... excellent in every way, except that the pages had a peculiar smell.. I then noticed that my fingertips and parts of my palm started getting 'black' with 'soothe' from the text on the pages... Is this just my experience or did you or anyone else out there experience this... Not sure if only the copy I received is a 'one-off'.... would appreciate your comments... thanks.
@@BibleBuyingGuide Hi, thank you for your prompt response.... appreciate it very much. Yes, initially I did think of returning it... however, having prayed about it, I feel I'll keep it.. After all, it is the Word of God... I'm told that returned products often end up in the garbage dump.. And I definitely don't want God's Word in such a place... I'll be keeping it... been 'wiping' every page with my bare hands and then wasing my hands...it's tiring and time consuming... In any case, I'm thinking of ordering another copy, perhaps a smaller print and more convenient size... I have a copy of Thomas Nelson's printed in China and it is simply excellent.. no smell, etc... I guess just this particular one happened to be it... I'm glad I'm the one who received it and not someone else..... In any case, thanks for writing back my friend.. and thanks for all your hard work of reviewing different Bibles, it's worth watching. God bless.
@@thomaspaul3187 thanks for the kind words! I still recommend mentioning this to them. There is a good chance they'll send you a replacement without sending this one back.
@@BibleBuyingGuide thanks again friend for writing back.. that is kind of you... But whom do I get in touch with.. i.e., to whom do I mention this - to Amazon or to Thomas Nelson...could you please help with your own experience.. appreciate all your kind help... Thanks & God bless
@@BibleBuyingGuide Hello Friend.. I just got in touch with Amazon customer service.. (took me a while to figure out how to contact them... got a 'chat' rep to chat with)... and they were so very kind - like you suggested - and they've provided me with a full refund... I'll be order again and more other Bibles too.. And this time the Bibles shouldn't be having this issue (at least that's what they told me, and based on your own kind feedback, I think the next orders will be fine). Thank you so very much for writing to me and for guiding me to do the right thing... The Lord did use you to help me... Thanks again friend and the Lord continue to bless you and use you in His Work. Do you know if they'll be making one of these PREMIERE Collection King James Holy Bible with the words of Christ in Red? I love the beauty of this specific King James Holy Bible by Thomas Nelson. Everything, the only thing holding me back is that the words of Christ are not in red. Something I'm so used to. That's all.
I just noticed something about this premiere version. I have a Thomas Nelson KJV bible (also in Brown) with the same large print, same center-column references, same book introductions, but I only paid $25-$30 for mine on amazon. the Library of Congress Number for mine is 2017935808. So what does this Bible have that's different from mine, other than it being leatherbound? Seems pretty steep to me! Now, if TN used different (or enhanced) book introductions, more references in the center-columns, perhaps even a Thompson Chain style archaeological maps, photos, concordance at the rear of the bible, then it might even be worth the asking price. I can take my Bible anywhere and even to work where it can dirty and scuffed up due to the environment there, but I wouldn't take this premiere anywhere other than to church! And getting a bible cover for this one would be like keeping a Ferrari under a tarp while you drive it!!
If it's the Bible I think it is, then the Premier Collection is a higher quality version of the same Bible. it has premium paper, goatskin leather with an edge-lined calfskin liner, better ribbons, and red highlights in the text. Both are great choices and serve different purposes because of the price-points.
Hi. The best conditionaer is the natural oils in your hands. I don't recommend any other leather conditioners for Bibles because Bible leather is treated to not need anything else.
Why is it stupid? Red letter is quite recent addition, introduced in 1899 if I'm not mistaken. Actually, lack of it forces us, in a way, to read more carefully. Blessings.

I got one of these for Christmas tonight! I LOVE it! The best Christmas Present I got this year!

Thanks for the review Pastor. I just purchased it. God's best to you and yours.
I'm buying this Bible. Thanks for the review. It's a great looking Bible. Hope it suits me well for preaching out of.
Why can’t they make it in red letter?😢
Wish it was red letter.
And made in America
Do you know if they have this particular bible in black? I like the raised bands on the spine.
They do have it in black, but not with raised hubs. Unfortunately, they have no plans to produce the black with the hubs.

Hey Randy, do you still have this Bible? Would you be willing to sell this? I can't find it on line anywhere.
I am interested in getting this bible! Do you know if it contains the the 14 books of the apocrypha or is it just the 66 books?

Nice BIBLE I like it. I collect Bibles, most of mine are hamdowns Bibles .
I heard 2 corithians 1:24 has an error. It says domination instead of dominion. Is that true?
It does have domination.
