I'm allergic to many types of soy. Including edamame. I had to ask at the cafeteria at work, if the special of the day had soy in it. The said no, but it came with a side of edamame. When I explained that was soy, the cashier looked at me like I had three heads.
These videos are... corny? Cheesy? The pseudo acting just makes it that much more fun. I don't know how or why TH-cam is shoving channels like this one and the MRE eating review channel into my recommended feed, but I love it.

I bought two Kahiki rice bowl meals where each one came with a egg roll or yum yum roll. I was very surprised with the egg rolls, their yum yum roll that came with the beef and broccoli meal was really good. You should give the yum yum rolls a try!

I've had these -- they are super-good for frozen egg rolls. I also approve of the cute "Rockin' Rolls" brand going on here! I'm totally fine with the edamame being in the vegetable egg rolls -- love those beans by themselves or as part of a multi-bean salad, so it's all good. Great review! Ok, I got it. Kahiki is part of the Hawaiian word Makahiki which means festival..the play on words reminds me of that Hawaiian name for that Polynesian restaurant in Chicopee, MA, which was "Hukilau" . The food and entertainment was first class the last time I was there, about 5 years ago.
The egg roll has a wonton wrapper.The original filling is pork and cabbage.Spring rolls have a rice paper wrapper and usually filled with spring vegetables.
Chicken flavoring without chicken can be done fairly well with just herbs/ spices (and a host of glutamates I assume) the chicken style bullion of the brand "Better than Bullion" isn't bad at all. The beef is questionable though.
What a coincidence... I just learned what edamame was last night at sushi with the boys. Might not be the best thing to eat there, but I enjoyed it (surprisingly), as I don’t usually eat many different veggies
As soon as this video started I thought “cook it in the air fryer”. Ever since I bought an air fryer I cook almost everything in it. Egg Rolls work beautifully in them !
Actually very recently tried Kahiki's vegetable & firecracker chicken egg rolls. The filling was a little to mushy for my tastes. I cooked them in a oven. Overall, I thought they were ok for frozen egg rolls, but probably won't be buying them again.
My wife loves edamame, myself I’m not really a fan. I’ll definitely give these a try, I’ve been disappointed with all other frozen egg rolls I’ve tried. Hopefully these will surprise me. Thanks for posting. 👍🏻👍🏻

Edamame is great roasted and salted when eaten like nuts but in food or cooked I can never say I have sir.......Salute💯

Is there a difference between egg rolls and Spring rolls? As in the Uk I have never heard of Egg rolls, as we have Spring Rolls.
Spring rolls are usually small and light, whereas egg rolls are bigger like a hot pocket and have a thicker, heavier breading... Cheers mate ✌️
