- Unfortunately my old concert companion (my faithful LG-V30) is slowly dying after 5 years of great service, and the signs of 'illness' from last month's Mötley Crüe gig in Prague have been confirmed. Quality-wise, this is one of the worst concert I've posted, if not the worst, with uneven and at times muffed sound and visual autofocus that shifted often or was plain wrong despite few corrections on the spot (see Martin's set); I even considered to not publish it at all but hey, let's pretend this is still the 80s and 90s and we got a hold of a VHS bootleg and see what we can do with it :)

Io c'ero. Li seguo da più di 15 anni e posso dire che dopo questa esperienza il mio amore per loro (già immenso) è cresciuto in maniera esponenziale. I Depeche Mode sono la colonna sonora della mia vita. ❤

Sono stato a Roma il 12 e da allora sto ascoltando e vedendo quasi esclusivamente audio e video dei loro concerti.
Per me, il loro miglior tour degli ultimi 15 anni, forse 20...incredibili
@@Andre.D.Keaton purtroppo non ho avuto il piacere di vedere altri concerti, era il primo per me. Ma da quel che sento e leggo pare che il Memento Mori sia il tour migliore, per alcuni in assoluto.

Ah, I wish you kept it rolling when they left the stage after Enjoy the Silence! The whole crowd kept up the singing the entire time they were gone before the encore. It was incredible. I’ve never experienced anything like it.
Such a great show! I saw them in Toronto and Detroit this tour, but the Milan show was by far the best. Italian audiences rule! We’re going to see them in London on Monday… We’ll see if the Brits can compete!

People are people and these songs that I mentioned are definitely much, much better, superior to many that will be performed at the next concert in Zagreb (tour). Dangerous..... Master and Servant..... Black Celebration..... Strangelove (one of the best)...... Policy of Truth....... People are People..... And some of the songs they will perform: Everything counts, Never let me down, World in my eyes, Personal Jesus, It's no good, Just can't get enough. It's real - old school - Depeche Mode.

so… they’re playing the same renditions of the old songs from previous tours. EXACTLY!
Not 'exactly' (though the versions are generally the same) because of some great, great work from Martin on guitar. It was one of the things I appreciated more in the concert. I really hope they'll come out with a live album, after this, because of that.
@@Andre.D.Keaton pls listen to the previous live recordings. The versions are the same. EXAMPLE… “everything counts” that’s played on this tour is the same as LIVE SPIRITS. Also, they’re playing the remixed version of “a pain that I’m used to” that has been played EXACTLY on other tours. All of the older (as few as they are) are being recycled! This is a terrible set list filled with waaaay too many songs from a new album that’s just dull!

It’s not what made them innovative and special. I’ve seen every tour since they hit america back in the day. Without the great staging of this one it would be the worst since PLAYING THE ANGEL. Saw them at MSG on this tour. Like watching/listening to an off key “D” list rock act. (Who wants to hear “wrong”!?!?)
@@robertladdieanderson6085 ahahahah! Thanks for liking my name here ;-) as for your comments, I'm on a different page. Of course they are playing the same versions of songs from the previous tour (too much, in my opinion), like the one you mention, but the bits and pieces from Martin and Peter on guitar and keyboard are different, in my opinion, and I loved that. Many people were mentioning the same at the gig, and basically all of us agreed that this was one of their best shows in the last 15-20 years. I didn't go there expecting that, because I felt that DM had become one of those old bands that always deliver, professionally, but that didn't excite fans the way they used to. I was happily surprised. As for Wrong, despite not being among my favourite at the time, I really love this version (same as during the Spirits tour) and it's certainly one that I want to hear live nowadays :) Finally, I think the new album is very good, though not great, and I would love them to play even a couple more from it. Obviously I would prefer to hear My Secret Garden, The Sun And The Rainfall, Happiest Girl or Ghost, but that's not gonna happen anyway, so...

This live version (band) is a creation of Dave’s wannabe rock star dreams and him wanting to preach the word of god to the world! If you notice… most of the songs they put out there are now gospel songs. (Their remake of “john the revelator” is AWFUL!!!) why do they play this song!?!? Anyway… the group has taken a turn for the worse. It’s just blah. Too funny that the one good song on their new album they aren’t playing “people are good”. (Gospel song). They just started featuring “my favourite stranger”. (Not written by them). This is truly grabbing hands grabbing all that they can!! Seriously… who the hell wants to hear 5 songs from this new album when their catalog is so vast. (A remix of “in your room”?!?!?). NO THANKS!!! But your name is still wonderful. Mr KEATON!!!
