No music when explaining topics, intro and outro music would work great
@@joojoobean_5572 Thanks for the input!
@@glennbrian3d - New viewer here, but I 100% agree with joojoobean.
I appreciate this kind of content a ton. It's the little things that I forget to think about. Thanks for all the great advice.
Absolutely!
Thank you for putting this together. I am in my second year of running my print farm and very nervous about taxes. Last year I wrote off all my machines but this year I am dealing with a lot more money. This gives me a great place to start documenting the timelines and sorting it out.
Excellent vid ty Glenn!
Thanks for Watching!
Great vid, thanks
Glad you liked it!
Boring, sucky details can make or break your business. Thanks for the vid!
Anytime!
I think you might be better served using a relational database (eg Access) for this, as it will allow you to keep a complete maintenance and repair history for each printer, whereas this spreadsheet only allows you to keep the most recent.
You could do something similar (but less powerful) in Excel, by putting the maintenance and repair records in separate sheets within the workbook, then linking them to the main "summary" sheet.
Thanks for the input! My goal is to make it easy for subscribers to replicate and be free, you could also design a different spreadsheet or add more columns as well
Thanks for the video! I'd love to hear some more about the stl selection process, and what kind of prices are fair for files/licenses/branding. Do you know anything about the patreon stl license memberships/etsy mega packs? Where are you getting your branded thank you cards/stickers/things like that? Did you design your own brand or farm that out?
I've had the P1S for a week, running non-stop. I'm literally waiting for the breakdown to happen so I can troubleshoot it. I'm running every kind of print I can think of in PLA. The neighborhood children are flush with articulated toys. My prints have been my impromptu business card, and I think I just sold my first job yesterday, though it's a ways off if it actually materializes so, ya know. We'll see. Photobooth and label printer are in the mail, and I'm using your label hack at work tomorrow. Boxes from ULine are cheaper for me.
I'm learning modeling at night, and I'm basically a branding consult away from launching. I want out of my cubicle. I sit next to a literal Nazi. No, for real. Thanks again for the video!
Sorry to hear about your coworker, yes i will definitely make some videos on STL selection process!
Do you use any bookkeeping software like quickbooks?
GnuCash is better I heard & it's free
This deserves its own video, coming soon!
