Nexus is technically supposed to be a sorta proto necromorph moon (basically the celestial version of their kind) so its understandable that it'd be just if not more dangerous than the moon itself...though I believe it was supposed to be a proto version of a planet necromorph but was stopped by the very creatures it imitates, might not be as smart but is built to kill without mercy and brutal efficiency, realistically nothing survives it.

I would recommend that you look at ArcCW Gunsmith offensive, highly modifiable versions of the CS:GO weapons on ArcCW base. You can change barrel length, Stocks and mag types. Comes with custom optics, grips and all of that

Also abut that Nexus boss i just saw boss fight vidio abut it and you dont just shot the heart you shot it's face bc it will try and eat you, And i think thats the way to sragger him so you can than hit his heart. But as i have seen it will take like hour to kill it since he has so much hp :D
feeders are blind pack hunters that will tear you limb from limb unless you succeed in a quick time event. too bad the gmod version can’t replicate that.

If not then use any of your Old Weapons such as: Golden Frying Pan, Admin Gun, or that Ultimate Laser from was it Honkai Impact or Touhou IDK.... (If those Weapons don't work as well, then use The Indestructible NPC as a Emergency Killing Machine)

I thought the nexus was simply a Hive Mind variant formed from the Tau Volantis aliens.
