We do tomatoes. Love herbs. But birds get the majority. Grrr

I love tomatoes and will be starting those in a few weeks. There are two things that might help keep the birds away. I've read that birds go after fruit like tomatoes primarily for water, so if you add a bird bath near by they are less likely to damage them. I tried this last year and didn't have any issues (other than having to clean and fill the bird bath regularly). You could also try mesh bags once the fruit has set - like for party favors or those branded for fruit. I tried these last year, too. They looked silly, but I decided halfway through to stop using them and started having issues with bugs. So I will be using them (no mater how silly) this year on all the tomatoes. Something like this amzn.to/49K9nv7. Just make sure they are big enough. I tried to used some on big tomatoes last year and had to cut the bag off because the tomato grew so big.
