    Hi Larissa, I’m loving your videos. I would highly recommend researching the environmental impacts of using peat in your garden. It’s an incredibly hard resource to grow and you can now get peat free items to be more sustainable. I use a coco coir seed raising mix from Bunnings that’s peat free. ❤

      Hi Chloe, I was aware that there is an issue using peat and I thought when grabbed this one it was coco coir until I got it home and saw it was peat. Thanks for letting me know about the seed raising mix at Bunnings. I’ll grab some of that when this runs out! 🙂

    It's odd to think you are going into spring and we are heading towards autumn. I think peas are my favourite veg to grow. Just found your channel. Lovely video. All the best 🇬🇧.

      Thank you so much! I’d much rather being going into Autumn. It’s way too hot here in Spring and Summer. Yes peas are wonderful to grow too. I’ve enjoyed sugar snap peas this year! 🙂🫛

    Hi your spring is starting and we are at end of summer here in Ontario Canada . Love my cucumbers as well. barefoot gardening feels so good. I am always barefoot even in winter.👣👣👣👣

      Yes we always see all the videos of you guys going into fall as we go into Spring! I’m still trying to work out if we have a really hot summer then you do or if we follow you. Last year we had the longest most humid summer. I’m hoping this summer won’t be as bad. What was your Summer like that you just had?
      I’m always barefoot in my garden too! It feels unnatural wearing shoes out there! 😂

      @@risslittleveggiepatch Hey Riss I do envy you starting your garden year.Our summer was wet and cloudy too much. Lots of crops did suffer with diseases. last summer was not very good either. As a full time bare footer wearing shoes always feels unnatural to me. Good job!👣👣👣

      @@risslittleveggiepatch looks like the last of the frost here has passed so time for me to get all my seeding out of the greenhouse. I’ve got lots of starts ready to plant out. Gotta love this time of year here in Queensland 😊

    Larissa, hybrid does not mean you cannot keep the seeds for more than one year. It means you cannot save seeds from the plant that will be true to the parent plant.

    • @risslittleveggiepatch
      @risslittleveggiepatch  15 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Yes that is true! You can save them but they won’t be the same!

    Hi were did you get your flexible seed cells they seem a lot better then the hard plastic ones i have, thank you love your videos

    • @risslittleveggiepatch
      @risslittleveggiepatch  3 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      Hi Jason, I got them from Bunnings and they are great! So much better than plastic ones. They are about $15 for two which is a bit expensive but they last. I also have a link in my description to some on Amazon that are a lot cheaper in price! 🙂
