"Now we need a body," he says while he stares at the Trackers Alliance representative with murderous intent. If there were cybernetics in this game then this would absolutely make sense. As it is, just a smidge demented (but that makes it fun). I would suggest that the mod author add a vendor to the Clinic's warehouse who will buy Harvested Organs on the down low. And once again, this is a setting with clones and advanced bioengineering and yet they can't seem to mass manufacture replacement organs enough to squelch the regular organ trade. Tsk tsk. Instead, the black market should be trading in organs with alien DNA and military grade enhancements and then have lore explaining why these things were outlawed after the Colony War.
Crimson trying to explain this mod in the most PG-friendly way possible during the intro: "So, yeah, useful morgues, organs, vendors... you get it, right?' 😂👍
Thanks to @Korodic for the mod and @Crimson for the commentary. For those of you just acquiring your Medical Examiners license or to teach Advanced Biology to Cora, this mod is for you.
@@CrimsonFlyboy: I think you missed the point, dear Crimson. 1) Brig: Capture Spacer. 2) Morgue: Butcher Spacer. 3) Mess Halls: Eat the Spacer. 4) Repeat above steps for profit.
A set of Crimson fleet themed interiors like Elianora did would be cool and be good for RP. Maybe with less trash on the floor "Don't slip on the kidney!"
My only gameplay complaint with this one, is that the Useful Brigs prisoners arent worth shite by comparison. Why would you bother with Useful Brigs when you can just tag & bag enemies for easy & unlimited contraband? The two mods together even makes for a particularly grim gameplay loop wherein you "stock up" the brig, land without worrying about a contraband scan, then "convert" all of your prisoners into the much more valuable harvested organs to sell at the local Trade Authority.
Useful Brigs has no turn in limit other than the beds on your ship. Whereas most vendors have limited credits and don’t accept contraband. There are other balancing mods that can help you achieve what you want. It is hard to extract organs depending on your medicine skill. Bodies are also heavy intentionally to discourage bringing back to many to your ship and to be more likely to be caught with scanners. It depends on a good number of conditions, so there is/can be some challenge/risk to it.
❤This marvelously morbid mod. I can't wait to get it!. Dissecting Ecliptic/Va'rruun/Spacers/Crimson Fleet corpses sounds delightful!. Thanks for this exclusive preview. 👍😁👍. Keep the mod reviews coming.
This is DEFINITELY not what I expected when I woke up this morning, and you provided me with more laughs than the usual. I loved how you needed a short "mental pause" at the beginning when trying to say "butcher corpses" in the most polite way possible. Sure, you could loreplay a Medical Professional Starborn, but I think more people are going to go the route of psychopath. XD Also, Crimson, I know you rarely review vehicles, because they are fairly straight-forward, and every flying vehicle is essentially the same. However, you might want to release a P.S.A. on "Model Atlantis I Flying Car \ Vehicle," which is the only Paid Creation that still disables Achievements. I made an impulse buy, because Paid Creations are now Achievement Friendly, but then was shocked when Starfield hit me with a warning of disabling them. I checked all of the Paid Creations on Xbox, and that vehicle is the only Paid Creation not Achievement Friendly. "Time to get choppy choppy." XD (EDIT)- Addendum; Gardeners of the Galaxy, new this week, is the second Achievement UN-Friendly Paid Creation on the Store. :'/
@@383commando: I was thinking of that. Another loreplay friendly use of this Creation, other than Harvesting Organs for bonus Contraband, would be to clean up bodies from places you did not want them. Like ... oops, you killed a guard, and wanted to remove the body before other guards find out. You can just zip them up, and carry them over to a container, dumping the corpse like Cyberpunk 2077's dumpsters and trunks, or Assassin's Creed's hay bales. I noticed the corpses are Contraband themselves. Korodic should update this mod with a new Vendor that ONLY buys bodies. For ... immersion. XD And his name should be Dexter.
I like the RP possibilities this unlocks, but it’s not practical…to harvest organs wouldn’t the victim need to be alive, or at least very, very recently deceased in order to harvest organs that are of any use? I wouldn’t want a box of rotting organs, lol. If there was some sort of spoilage mechanic on the bodies then that would be more realistic, but then I would imagine it would be more taxing on performance.
I'd like to think that the body bags preserves the corpses. Designed by utilizing the latest space suit technology. (But, I really don' t care, just as long as I can squeeze as much fun/blood/credits out of every bounty/corpse! 👍😁👍 )
I can see myself using this hab for roleplay purposes for Sahima on my crew. It could be her station where she examines people affected by the vortex event in order to help find a way to save them
@ Per a Rdddit post, it’s not the same as chopshop. It’s a same concept, different implementation situation. The key differences are: • Named corpse feature • Chance to fail extraction of organs (biowaste) • Mogue hab units instead of reusing infirmaries (eliminating conflicts with mods that edit the infirmaries such as Useful Infirmaries, Functional Infirmaries, etc) • Corpses are looted via a “Bag” interact option instead of being in their inventory, which helps avoid conflicts with auto-loot mods. • Bagging corpses plays a zipper noise • Corpses have havok (physics capable custom model) • Custom workbench with 0 dependencies on other mods/creations. • No requirement for a ship freezer component to be installed. • Scaling of bagged corpses for child NPCs. • When bagging a body, loot is filtered for credits, keys, and quest items which are given to the player. • Availabile on PC AND Xbox.

There seems to be something of a gameplay loop developing here...Usedul Brigs...Useful Mourges...Useful Mess Halls...
It's all by the same author, they're goal is to improve the base ship habs to make them more roleplay friendly

Coffee time. Yep, can now play a character worthy of a DLDY video spotlight. Great review and video.

Why is the patch that cleans the floors not achievement friendly?

Can you revisit Owl Tech again, they've added new habs??? Reactor Room🤯
I could see using this just for the quick contraband aspect and it definitely fits for a baddie playthrough. Thanks for the review as always CFB!
Very cool mod, thanks for reviewing it crimson well done. going in my load order with the rest of them.
Would be very handy for clearing out bodies when stealing ships instead of having corpses everywhere. 🙂
This would be great for a murder mystery quest. Each autopsy reveals more clues that leads you to the killer.

Im still waiting for someone to make an fallout zetan mod for starfield
Def gona snag this
Free PC mod has been out a long, long time for looting corpses and doing a harvested organ hustle
called Chop Shop on nexus

The ship habs don't show up in my build menu 😭 wonder if you need a certain level of the medicine skill?
Would this work with the place doors yourself mod do you reckon?
Yeah there would be no issue using it and place your own doors
@CrimsonFlyboy excellent thanks very much
Good video
Love this!
This mood and the looting mod conflict. When you hit B to take all the inventory turns gray, then needs to be manually looted.
Switch them in your load order. This way strip shows then after you strip it shows take all. Otherwise turn off take all in game options for shades.
@JaredKohr thanks... 😁😎
Does it also give you the armour the NPC is wearing when you bag em and harvest them for organs?
Yes it does
This mod is very cool!
Crimson Flyboy = corpse smuggler
Where is the useful house of ill repute mod? Just saying
It will be out in a out an hour, I'll update the link when it's available
Looks like it got pulled. The link is no link anymore, and search on the creations site turns out nothing.
It's unreleased, check again in ~5 hours
Hilarious idea 😂
outposts?
I don't even know what to say lol
I like it but ill never use it
😂 na im good pretty soon someone is going to make a 10 dollar toilet that flushes and undercarriage wash. So many trash paid mods. Thanks Crimson!
Okay but when Useful Bathrooms releases you better not be upset by the 1000 credit price tag - you asked for this.
weird
ewwww!
