Cool premise and little quest, but very short. It would have been cool if the guy had gone to the surface, stolen a ship, and you had to chase him. Get into a space battle, board stolen ship, You kill the dude and get a new ship. Milk artist: many ways to improve your mod. Hit me up or Crimson we can provide you with a ship design if you’d like. Just sayin Also welcome back crimson glad the power is back we missed you.
Mod author here! Just wanna clarify a few things. Maybe I'm just older than everyone at this point 😂 but this mod was made for RP purposes... in an RPG lol. When I play, I don't fast travel, so I wanted a way to get from the spaceport to the Lodge without walking all the way to the vanilla NAT. The quest was added afterwards, and wasn't meant to be earth-shattering amazing. It was something designed for players to randomly stumble upon. I have an update going through QA now to fix the cell bounds when jumping over the track.
Is there a free version without the quest because maybe I’m just older then everyone at this point but when I install a light RP mod meant to add the tiniest touch of immersion I would prefer it to not cost
@@jimjam7928 Not a mystery lol. I took it down because I was bogged down with maintaining two different versions. Fixing things twice. Hit me up if you're interested in the older nexus version.
@@bossredd-77: I think they meant "not everyone cares about immersion" but I certainly do, and I like having my Starborn roam around the City like in real-life. I wasted too much time in Cyberpunk 2077 just walking on the sidewalks in Night City, like an NPC. I guess that makes me weird, but I enjoy going for long walks.
If New Atlantis was much larger, say Night City sized, with districts across the lakes and stuff, this might be a neat addition. As is, New Atlantis is just not spread out enough to warrant it. Plus, Bethe$da Buck$. I've ranted enough about that so I won't go down that road again.
Thanks for the review, Crimson. I hope you do a Stream pairing this Creation with the one that also adds roads to drive through. Sarah Morgan hated that.
This mod works well with the Slow Travel mod by youngneil1. As it disables fast traveling and requires you to walk or use the buggy. Meaning a metro system is a wonderful addon to compliment it.
I went ahead and grabbed Starfield crime overhaul. I want consequences when I discharge my weapon near civies or point a weapon at a guard. I hope it keeps getting updated as modders learn more about Starfield
Forever hopeful for a Companion that uses the Australian accent and words, phrases, slang, jargon, idioms, and colloquialisms. All the cool “Australianisms” Male and Female versions and they can be from "Space Australia 🇦🇺" as a back story lol
Thanks to @TheMilkArtist for the mod and @Crimson for the review. While the quest leaves a lot to be desired, the subway does appear to be faster than the NAT, so there is that. Looking forward to some quest development.
Yeah, the quest was meant to be something players stumble upon, rather than seek out. I have some proper, robust quest mods coming in the next few months!
I feel like they missed an opportunity to really lean into the socio-economic divide between the Well and New Atlantis ( just slapping on some graffiti and grime decals decals doesn't really sell it), but that's just my opinion.
I guess this will be good for those that like to roleplay, there's really no point in having a subway system because of the NAT. Now if the subway system took you to a new area in New Atlantis, somewhere that you can't walk or take the NAT to, like an underground casino or something like that, that would be awesome. Put this adding a subway system for no other purpose than roleplay is kind of pointless.
Cool looking mod but I kinda wonder why this one is even necessary as we have a train system already ingame and New Atlantis is not even big enough to have even that one, the NAT only is there to bring us from the bottom cell to the upper one, and we can also fast travel with the Map, so this mod is nice but quite pointless.
The Voice actors are awful 😅 Also, when you mention shops, there should be a couple in the middle like in a normal subway and if you’re talking about the capital of the UC, there should be a lot more people walking around 😅
Coffee time. Not for me I think. Thanks for the video. Saving me money every time.

@@NightshadeDE There WAS a free version, on the Nexus, which I luckily grabbed at the time.
It has since mysteriously vanished...
Needs newspaper & hot dog vendors ;-)
@@Doc...Vanguard.Warship.Voyager I like that idea 😄

Benefit is roleplay. Sole reason. Wasn't meant to add utility. Not everyone is into roleplay but many are.
That's a very good point I hadn't thought about
All video games are all about role play. It's the sole reason most people play them is to role play.

Amazing mod 👍
That's way cleaner than most subways.

OH ... I thought it looked familiar , yeah it was free on Nexus I have it in my modlist, but now they added a quest and it's a paid mod. love that.
you have been missed!
Appreciate you man
I can't be the only one who thought they were adding sub sandwiches at first glance.
Now we need a Subway restaurant
Is it possible to use this mod as a framework to add new interior locations & quest in the subway?

-->The Well

No need aside from immersion for those of us who dont engage in fast travel. Its a flavor mod.

I paid 70USD for the base game. I've put another $100 into paid mods. And the game isn't any better-- in fact, it's actually more unstable than ever.
This one should be free lol
