Doom Guy was a normal space marine, remember. He had to deal with computers all the time. He may not get to show off his computer skills too often but he's not stupid when it comes to them.
VEGA is the only (living) innocent character in game, of course angel-blessed Doomguy would save him. Get it? SAVE him... ;)

I had similar feelings about VEGA, I was expecting to get there and find out he wasn't actually a computer but something much more sinister, a la Borderlands. That skyrocketed when the door opened and revealed the menacing structure inside, but he ended up being a friend after all. I've never actually noticed that last line from him either, wow.
Well, now that Villy had mentioned Event Horizon and admitted his liking of the film, I wanna watch it with him.
Got to say, sometimes, when a Cacodemon dies, it sounds just like Pacman dying.

Vinny beware, there are sex scenes in Wolfenstein. And by sex scenes, I mean just the one. Ands its not exactly X-rated, but not PG13 either.
IIRC that's totally fine by twitches standards, even if there's nudity, they're okay with it as long as it's not over a certain amount of time and it's not a game that's trying to be porn.
Though TBH that doesn't matter much as twitch tends to be really hypocritical about stuff like that, but Vinny will probably be fine.

Itachi Uchiha The Doom Guy in this game is the same one from the classic Doom games. I believe Doom 3 had a different Doom Guy though.
Doom 1 - Doom Guy is sent to hell, fights his way out, finds out demons invaded earth.
Doom 2 - Goes back to hell to stop the invasion, decides to teach hell a lesson and remains there to fuck up all the demons so another invasion doesn't happen.
Doom reboot - Demons eventually trick and imprison Doom Guy in a tomb, in sort of a statis. Reboot starts with an expedition team finding his tomb, excavating him and his armor, and releasing his statis.

hated this level - not because it was bad or too difficult, but because it was the only level in the game where Doom crashed. like 9 times. :/
