I played No Man's Sky without ever seeing a trailer, an interview, or reading any kind of reviews. It wasn't bad. I mean, it doesn't compare to games like Elite: Dangerous, but I wasn't violently pissed about it or anything. Hell, I've put about 10 hours into it and it's actually pretty fun if you aren't biased by the developer lying (or whatever he did; I still haven't seen any interviews). Is it $60 fun? Not really, no.
Nexture Well, it was more file sharing than piracy. I have a friend who hates Steam because of its DRM, so he buys all of his games on GoG. I was able to catch him before he got a refund and I copied the installer from him because GoG doesn't employ any DRM.
can't blame you for not hating it outright, "ignorance is bliss" and all that. I guarantee that once you do a little digging around the lies surrounding the game you might feel differently. Honestly, I didn't really care myself until I learned about all of the broken promises. What really pissed me off, though, was the games media being firmly in Sean Murray's backside calling gamers "entitled" for pointing out all the lies and poor quality of the game.
Petition for Vinny to embarrass himself by saying "Eichhörnchen" live on stream because I am hurt in my pride and I can pronounce "squirrel" way better than he could ever imitate the "ch"-digraph in the german translation of that word
