As a tenant that has the option to AUto pay - its horrible! We are to pay on the first and it automates the payment on the fifth! We have no choice other then to go in and manually place a one time payment on the 30th of the month so that it process's in time! Because we are a split tenant household we cannot even get a Running journal of what has been paid and what is still due! This hiding it from the payor is ridiculous!

I think even with all disadvantages, Yardi is still the best option for some commercial businesses. I would really like to see more recent features though (like some competitors are doing).

Hello, how do you create a zero-receipt when the Resident has to prepay money and a balance left over?
You probably would need to create a receipt with a negative prepaid rent charge. Depending on your setup. Shot me a message and I can probably help.
Sadly Yardi is terrible for users and tenants. I hope we move away from them soon.
What options are you considering to leave Yardi?

Unfortunately, the idea is great but executed poorly. The personnel is not licensed in the insurance industry and tries a cookie-cutter approach.
