Just telling my bro this. He will be the 1st overall pick in 2 years. I hope KC drafts him somehow. My friend laughed at me when I said PSU would win the big within the next 2 seasons.
This kid looks great but to me jamis Winston has just of strong arm if not stronger and throw the deep ball as good as any one in college and his foot work isn't all that great so that tells you how strong and accurate his arm could be but I will give him this Jamis played on a better team but idk who I would chose out of these two qb's
Dimitrius Rivera Winston is a spectacular quarterback but let's not forgot he had a full year of college training and spring training that Hackenberg did not before this past season...not to mention a better O line and better targets...Hopefully Hackenberg learned a lot under O'Brien and can lead PSU to a solid season. We will have a good run game and although we lost our by far best receiver, Hack will still have some big tight end targets and a playmaking WR
I feel like this video will eventually explode with views as the years go on. He still has a minimum of 2 years of college left, but Hackenberg is about as perfect an nfl prospect as you can ask for. I think Luck is a fair comparison.
Ive only known about this guy from the under armour game but he is a great QB i can see this guy in the NFL and he is def gonna get alot of hype in these next few years. He reminds me of Tom Brady for some reason
Sike! Keep your hands off! He's a gonna be a texan! Yall can have Connor cook! Lol just kidding but really the gm of jets was in the Texans staff so I wouldn't be surprised if yall did grab hack.
You might like his dropbacks to be a little faster, and a bit more fluid. And for those throws he makes with little to no pressure around him from an upright stance to be out in front of his receivers. But he can still throw, and has great poise, looks like he could be really really good in a few years.
I think he could be one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL one day, if he plays under bill obrien in houston I think he will return to form from his freshman year, huge upside with this kid, BRING HIM TO HOUSTON
People keep talking about reuniting him with Obrien but I don't think that will work. When all that Sandusky stuff went down Hackenburg could have gone to any school and no one would have judged him for it. He stuck to his word and went to play for Obrien. Obrien jolted out of Penn State as soon as he could and let Hackenburg out to dry. Trust between QB and coach is extremely important. If your Hackenburg how could you trust a coach who promised you one thing and did another?
+cruman87 He definitely has 10 years Max left in him, I expect that. I just feel having someone stay as his backup that long would be assurance of some sort of continuity. Your knowledge will definitely be A-1 by then and the body would still be rather fresh. I'm speaking mostly out of a needs for continuity, by any means necessary
+MINIWHEAT70 Yeah but u can't expect to keep a QB like Hackenburg as a backup for that long when I'm sure he would want a chance to be a starter somewhere else.
+MINIWHEAT70 Yeah that's what I mean. Hackenburg, if for some reason drafted by the Ravens to be the heir to Flacco, wouldn't wait for Flacco to retire if Flacco were to stay 5-8 more years. He would leave for a chance to start as soon as he could. Just like Tyrod did.
Yes, you are right! But let's face the facts of the current Partiots QB's: Tom Brady is 37 years old and after a glorious season, with a possible Super Bowl he will retire, I think. Ryan Mallett has been the Brady Backup for too long now. He wants to start in the NFL and will be traded away surely. The Patriots had to take a Quarterback in this years Draft just to have a talented backup, which Jimmy Garoppolo really is. But you never know what will happen in two years when Christian Hackenberg surely heads into the NFL Draft 2016. I think he is exactly what the Patriots need at QB. Tom Brady had or still has contact with him and Bill O'Brien, once an offensive coordinator of the Pats and last years coach of the Penn State Nittany Lions, introduced him to the organization last year for sure. We'll see what happens, but I think he would be the perfect backup for Tom Brady without a doubt!
+Antonio Arroyo Hoyer is probably better than HACKenburg to be honest. This guy just isnt good. Being 6'5" and having a big arm doesn't make you accurate or smart or good
Eagles! Stay in PA :) Makes me sad watching this and thinking what could have been. With a real coach like that plus with scholarship players, especially with the O-line.
diaz93tx Me too! I'm already pumped for next year's draft, hopefully we can trade up for him or maybe he'll fall right into our lap? Others may not be interested in him, but we've seen what he can do under O'Brien. In almost positive that's why we haven't drafted a QB. Think about it. Hoyer and Mallet are signed for 2 years. They play this year, we draft Hackenberg, let him sit for a year and start him in 2017.
That one guy I'm pretty sure teams will be interested in him he is a good pocket passer he looks alot like Brady I think we would need to trade up to get him I really hope so!
jeoh93 if we happen to land Hackenberg, then I'd put money on that. Bleacher report had an article about O'Brien being "unimpressed" with the way savage played when fitz broke his leg in Indy. O'Brien was probably expecting too much from a rookie, but either way it goes, he's calling the shots. We could get a 4, 5 or 6th rounder for him.
I love the start
Hackenberg is a beast
What a patient, composed, fantastic pocket passer, all around great QB. The sky is the limit for this guy. And I'm a Clemson fan. Much respect.
I predict he will be a major bust in the NFL
@@eversonleeangel4259and you would be correct
This kids gonna be a star in the NFL in a couple years
Just telling my bro this. He will be the 1st overall pick in 2 years. I hope KC drafts him somehow.
My friend laughed at me when I said PSU would win the big within the next 2 seasons.
And he was correct to do so
This kid looks great but to me jamis Winston has just of strong arm if not stronger and throw the deep ball as good as any one in college and his foot work isn't all that great so that tells you how strong and accurate his arm could be but I will give him this Jamis played on a better team but idk who I would chose out of these two qb's

nope
omg he is good😊
Could also be called a Robinson highlight
I feel like this video will eventually explode with views as the years go on. He still has a minimum of 2 years of college left, but Hackenberg is about as perfect an nfl prospect as you can ask for. I think Luck is a fair comparison.
Future Dallas Cowboy hopefully.
Damn Allen Robinson is good
Ive only known about this guy from the under armour game but he is a great QB i can see this guy in the NFL and he is def gonna get alot of hype in these next few years. He reminds me of Tom Brady for some reason
This kid is going to be good in the NFL. Sit a year behind Fitz and with Marshall and decker he will shine.
Reminds me of Matty Ice
The way he works in the pocket reminds me of Brady
Arm strength is off the charts. jesus.
Christian Hackenberg JETS!!!!!!!!!!! GET HIM!
Tom Lincoln I hope we do in the 2016 draft!
Andrew Luck Reminds me of him
Honestly Jets should sign Josh Freeman tto a two year contract have Geno Start if he sucks pput in Freeman draft hackenberg next year
Sike! Keep your hands off! He's a gonna be a texan! Yall can have Connor cook! Lol just kidding but really the gm of jets was in the Texans staff so I wouldn't be surprised if yall did grab hack.
Darrius Arnold-Don't think for one split second that the Buffalo Bills won't be after this man with everything they've got as well.
You might like his dropbacks to be a little faster, and a bit more fluid.
And for those throws he makes with little to no pressure around him from an upright stance to be out in front of his receivers.
But he can still throw, and has great poise, looks like he could be really really good in a few years.
SF 49ers Kaepernick is garbage
im a jets fan im so hipe
der furuerer master stroke is voming to verstion...der sky parts paahrt...maoutins singng ! rise! RISE!

Daniel Mendoza Hack went to Pen State because of Bill's system was perfect for Hack. Evident by Hacks dominate freshman season.
I want him as Flacco's heir for the future
For the future? Flacco has got a good 5-10 years left in him if he stays healthy.
+cruman87 He definitely has 10 years Max left in him, I expect that. I just feel having someone stay as his backup that long would be assurance of some sort of continuity. +MINIWHEAT70
Yeah but u can't expect to keep a QB like Hackenburg as a backup for that long when I'm sure he would want a chance to be a starter somewhere else.
+cruman87 He'd most likely get that opportunity too. Be like the Tyrod situation all over again. And he sat for X amount of years.
+MINIWHEAT70
Yeah that's what I mean. Hackenburg, if for some reason drafted by the Ravens to be the heir to Flacco, wouldn't wait for Flacco to retire if Flacco were to stay 5-8 more years. He would leave for a chance to start as soon as he could. Just like Tyrod did.
Heisman Candidate 2014-2015... etc
Well, whoever wants him NEXT YEAR needs to have a good offensive line PSU, is known to have great offensive line .
Future Texans QB
Best QB prospect since luck, I see a more mobile brady.
Bill o brian don't fail the city of houston now reunite with this kid please ....... we need him get him next year in the draft
breaking news number 5 Christian Hackenberg quarterback New York Jets 2017 NFL season will you get a load of the hack attack
With the right system, right coach, this kid can be something. Hopefully the Jets can do right by him and help him develop this season
Goodbye RGIII, hello Hackenberg.
damn what ever happened to him. He is a completely different player now than he was a freshman in college
welcome to the Chicago bears Christian Hackenberg
Tom Brady's successor right there! Watched him since Elite 11. Incredible combination of size, talent and intelligence.
They just drafted Jimmy Garoppolo in the 2nd round of this year's draft.

Not quite. JETS
Arguably the most intriguing prospect in this year's draft at QB with all of his physical tools. If he shows improvement this year he could go #1.
We all love Quarterback, reading the comments is funny how we all would tank for a QB.
Houston better get him in the first round
+Antonio Arroyo as a houston fan if they pick him in the first round, i'm officially boycotting the team. this dude is straight trash
+osubuckeyes14
If not him then who we need a quarterback no more defense and we need a running back
+Eric Pacheco
he's alright but he's better Than hoyer for one thing Elliot will probably be taken top 10 though
+Antonio Arroyo Hoyer is probably better than HACKenburg to be honest. This guy just isnt good. Being 6'5" and having a big arm doesn't make you accurate or smart or good
poor kid screwed in coaching change
Welcome to the Giants
+thuglifezeem716 i love the giants but this kid is goin to the boys in the 2nd
+Mark Rothermel Why do you all assert that a player will get picked by a certain team? You aren't in the draft room, you know literally nothing.
+Race Johnson it's called a guess buddy
+Race Johnson I was wrong anyways he went to the jets
Eagles! Stay in PA :) Makes me sad watching this and thinking what could have been. With a real coach like that plus with scholarship players, especially with the O-line.
He really should replace Jay Cutler
Dear Texans... Reunite him with O'Brien in the NFL.
first song?
What is the song in the beginning
"Intro" by The XX
what is the song you used after "Intro"?
Right Above it (instrumental) by lil wayne
thanks!
So much promise all down the drain. It's sad when you see a draft bust.
kids good
his problem is he throw the interception at the worst time of the game..he better sharpen up
Jay Cutler ... Meet your replacement! GO BEARS!
Penn State/ Pats fan. I've never seen a quarterback operate more similarly to Tom Brady. Would be a perfect replacement.
Maverick Cunningham Except, Hackenberg don't need to deflate the footballs.
Chris Tian No. Dumbass. Tom is the GOAT.
Maverick Cunningham
lmao....what an idiot.
Nope. Hes the GOAT and there's really no logical argument against it.
Maverick Cunningham
Yep, and you're an idiot! Hahahaha.
He might need to stay all four years but he has next Andrew Luck written all over him
Sup Jets fans.
+Scott Daddario WWHATT UPP!
49ers gonna get him or rams.
he's going to the teaxens
Eric Pacheco you say this 3 days ago smh
Hackenberg and Cook >>>>>>> Mariota and Winston
Looks like Luck
He can be our Andrew Luck! Texans better reunite him with Billy O!
I really hope it happens!!
diaz93tx Me too! I'm already pumped for next year's draft, hopefully we can trade up for him or maybe he'll fall right into our lap? Aaron Rodgers 2.0
Wtf no one is on Rodgers level.
