Hey Sam! I'm a 16 year old photographer in San Diego CA and I was wondering, after shooting in London for so long, how do you take unique photos that you haven't already taken?
You don’t, it’s about looking at what you’ve already shot and try to find a new way of approaching it. But essentially it will eventually become very similar. This year my aim is to shoot in more different places .
Keep crushing these daily content Sam, you're absolutely killing it. It also gives me the motivation to keep creating and be consistent in everything I do. Happy new year as well and keep safe. P.S.
th-cam.com/video/Jbm9jj0i7A0/w-d-xo.html This guy uses that lens all the time for street photos in Chicago, IL and he also did one with the 100-400GM lens in Chicago as well.
I own the a7iii and ordered the sony 70-200mm gm ii today, it's arriving tomorrow! won't be able to shoot with it until Sunday tho but I'm so so so excited
To be honest I don't like this type of video,it's not about hate,it's just not for me,but what I do love is the commitment of going out, shoot,do a video and repeat, and you sir,you are an example, keep doing what you doing 'cuz you do great.idk but I found this really inspirational.
Was pretty cool to see one of my photos on the screen while you were scrolling the hashtag! These daily videos are really making me want to get out and shoot more!
Quick question, not sure if you covered it before, do you use filters to protect the lens element? Alot people say they degrade photos, what is your take ? Thanks
Hi mate, just wanted to say, I absolutely love these videos man I really do, find them so calming to watch and its nice to watch someone else just go out and get on with what they love. Would love to meet up with you and go out for a shoot one day! Keep up with these videos my friend, great work and lovely photos.
Hi Sam, I’m enjoying your videos but I’m wondering whether the enthusiasm wears off after a while shooting the same streets. I’m Mainly a landscape photographer and every now and again my creativity wains and I yearn to photograph other things
Nice! You covered a lot of ground that morning! - some banging shots. Not sure about the one of the photographer on the bridge 😂😂 … I make some questionable noises 😂😂
Loving these morning videos Sam! Your shots were incredible! When I get a interchangeable lens camera (as I currently have a bridge camera) I will rent the 70-200mm for my nature shots and even test it out in the city. I did not know that lens would be so effective in street photography.
@@Haydenssphotography If you have the money, the a7iii is amazing. I just got it. I had the a7ii before. The a7ii is also a REALLY good camera, no doubt. I would defo recommend Sony 👍
@@TomatenDK Thank you! I was actually looking at both of them and watching reviews but wasn't sure which one to get in the future. Once again thanks for the suggestion!
@@Trstn.H it’s boring and people switch off. I use to do it and the viewer retention span was really low. It’s more engaging to talk to the GoPro and have a backing track behind that ✌️
@@Opticalwander Thanks - was hoping for that answer haha :) Love my 85 Samyang and really really want to see some reviews of the new Samyang 24-70 but somehow there arent really any desent reviews out still :(
Just discovered this amazing channel. Your work and content is fantastic. And also love the interaction with the hashtag # which I will now be using on any image I believe to be worthy lol. #opticalwander
Naughty Sony knew exactly what to magnify on to at 5:27 … jokes aside, great POV! You’ve inspired me to start doing pov videos , so I got myself a little action camera!
@@Opticalwander want to have telephoto lens for my gear set with 85f1.8 and 16-35f4. For street, hiking, portraits etc. Its just hobby for me. Interesting tamron lens also.
Oh right, that's a relief 😅... I have the Sony 70-200mm f4 and currently working on a video using it. My last video on my channel was inspired by you Sam. Walking the JBR strip and trying to capture some supercars of Dubai. Thanks for always being you and sharing your authenticity and wisdom 🙏
It's mad how you know exactly what would look good without even looking through the camera, shows experience and how professional you are

Good question ! I live in Copenhagen and feel its so compact, grey and boring. You americans are lucky to have your mega cities :O :)
@@TomatenDK yeah! I live in San Diego which isn't a big city but I do have los Angeles three hours away
Also California doesn't get a lot of rain which sucks
@@ianmccurdy8747 hehe 3 hours will get me from one end to the other of Denmark :D
Great shots as always Sam I just love watching your videos 🔥🔥🇬🇧

Ooo that compression, so sick! Love doing street photography with a 70-200!
yoo i really enjoyed this video. all the memories living in London.
Never thought of using a 70-200mm on the streets 🤔 definitely like the perspective it gave I will give it a try

Great Pov Sam. Could you do a video comparing the sony 70-200 vs Tamron 70-180
Hey Sam, you’ve been killing the game man!How is the performance of the Sony 70-200 GM (old version) on the a7IV?
Again great confy video Sam. Its like watching a series. Waiting for the next daily episode :)
Great video and energy as always :D

Thanks for the feature at the end!! That’s so sick haha
Thanks to you , after I see your video with 70-200mm street photography , I buy this lens 70-200mm F4 , the details of pictures are insane
This is gonna be a banger 🔥🔥🔥
Killer video Sam, smashing it as always! Sunrise with the 70-200 looks so nice! What kind of time were you out shooting?
I was out at 7:30 until about 9ish I think
This lens is perfect for sniping people from far away, nice video 👌
Way fun awesome stuff. Thank you!
2:10 giant tic tacs 😂😂
That reflection shot best of the lot
dope video! question...what kind of camera are you using to get the angle of your hands taking the pics?
Those are beautiful shots!
Nice Storror fleece!!
Love your content!!! It almost makes me feel like I'm actually shooting
Dope lens for streetphotography
What a light, sick shots. I want to ask one question: when you are walking and talking like this, are you using just gopro internal mic?
I like that lens...that's a nice lens
Hey! Could you maybe do a comparison of a7 3 and a7 4? Was it worth it and why
Where can I find the like a music playing in the background?
Nice video Sam🔥🔥

Glad to see my photo in the video you didn't pick it tho but still I'm happy 😂
Hello bro!I have Sony alpha a6000,what obiective is verry good for a portret? And setings:))Ly
Does that lens have a workout manual with it to build up biceps? I'm saving for the Tamron 70-180 instead :)
It is quite a beast! The newer version of this lens is 400g lighter though. But personally I like a weighty lens!

How did you get the screen record show on the video my guy? (Ive never edited a video before i find it really cool)
Love your videos but gotta see more locations man x
Hi, bro! I'd like to know how long it took for the store to ship your camera? Considering it is a new item. Thanks a lot.
Hey there’s a video on my page explaining how I got hold of the camera 🙏
Dude. I want some orange Tiktacs so bad now. You should see if they’ll sponsor. 🤣
So odd I was in London the past couple days on a break and was using a 70-200mm Canon 2.8 yesterday and today on these bridges!
I’ve been looking for a 70 to 200 but the GM always comes up on top
loving your POV's!!
Can you sometimes write down which preset do you use for which picture?
Keep going on Sam!!

It’s from @storror the parkour squad that makes TH-cam videos 🙏
Please do more a7IV videos! So fun to watch

What preset is this? 3:28
Presets are there as a good base start and this was deepblue. I changed settings and added graduated filters to
Get to the final result. 🙏

Beautiful images. But what happened to the 200mm panning shot? You accepted my challenge already….let’s go!! Hahah
All in due course my friend. I’m going to do a video at 200mm only 🙏

Is it worth to buy f2.8?
I’ve used both and I can safely say that I prefer this lens. But it depends on your budget and what you want it for.
