    In this episode we unbox and give a complete rundown of all of the features included with the UBeesize 67" tripod. It is the exact one that I purchased but the company has raised the price to $37.99. This Link is now affiliated but doesn't cost you anything extra when clicking it. Just a heads up :)

    Yes, excellent review of an excellent product. When I received it I thought they had sent me a more expensive tripod by accident. Everything you said about it is true. Great tripod at a great price!

    I bought it for the new camera I bought (Canon 90D). I like the compactness and small size but also that it can almost expand to 6’. And the fact that you can rotate the plate 90 degrees. Looking forward to taking it to Alaska next month!

    This very same tripod comes under different brand names as well ( Aureday, Ubeesize etc) virtually identical except for the carrying case and packaging. I recently got one at a bargain Amazon sale for $17 USD...Surprisingly sturdy for what it is! Hands down the best value tripod out there bar none

    • @ReedEmbry
      @ReedEmbry  3 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Thank you Zee! I really appreciate your feedback and I hope you love the tripod. I am making a video on this very subject coming up pretty soon. For right this second, I would advise to always shoot in raw, get a 5 TB external hard drive. They're about 90 dollars U.S. On Amazon. I would have 2-3 memory cards because they can get lost easily or fill up way quicker than you might think on a shoot and backups are always a plus. I would get a memory card case to keep all of them organized and in one place. I would have at least 4 batteries with a 2-bay battery charger that also works in your car. "almost all of them use the usb charging cables now so you should be good just verify before purchase. After 20 years I only cary 1 filter in my bag and that is a circular, variable density, ND filter. It's not a "MUST" right away but it can help you get a more shallow depth of field on bright sunny days or let you take really long exposures in the daytime. within the first year I'd pick up a really cheap Neewer or Godox, high speed sync speed light, with the appropriate wireless trigger. Just putting one of these on the hot shoe of your camera and pointing up straight up at the ceiling when your indoors will immediately make your photos a thousand times more professional. Plus a back pack or cary case to cary everything in. I wouldn't overly accessorize during the learning phase. The more stuff you have the less quickly you'll be able to take shots and the more clutter you'll have to carry around with you. a good rule of thumb is to keep it all to one "organized" backpack or less while you really master the exposure triangle. Learning how the camera works is 99.9% of photography. The accessories are just add-ons. Don't forget to hit the bell Icon to stay tuned for all of these upcoming videos. Thank again Zee!

The dimensions of the plate {The part the camera sits on is 2.5" long by 2" wide. the coupler {The part that sits into the tripod is a 1 5/8" square. • @ReedEmbry
      @ReedEmbry  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      They both have the same functionality just one is slightly taller. I'm not sure however that either have any real overhead or top down capabilities. You'll still be pretty limited by the legs if you're trying to film/photography straight down. I may have the question wrong so let me know if this helps. Thank you!

    Hi how are you doing ? I am looking at buying this Tripod mount. I have a Cellphone mount that I bought that holds my galaxy note 20 ultra phone my cellphone mount takes a 1/4" screw head. Will My cellphone mount fit this Tripod mount screw head? That is what I am trying to figure out. On Amazon it didn't say which screw head for Cellphone mounts??

    • @ReedEmbry
      @ReedEmbry  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah its a standard 1/4 20 screw mount. Most tripods and camera mount gear will fit this standard size. Hope this helps. If for some odd reason it doesn't fit you can always return to Amazon but I'd nearly guarantee that it will fit.

    • @ReedEmbry
      @ReedEmbry  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I'm sorry to hear your having trouble with it. I do want to say that I don't work for this company in any way, I'm just a reviewer. I'm not terribly sure how to fix things like this but if the twisting lock mechanism is stuck you may be able to get it to loosen by spraying a little WD-40 on it. I believe all of the components are plastic so this shouldn't hurt anything. I can't assume any liability if this goes wrong however it's just a suggestion. I hope this helps!

    You didn’t show how to put the cellphone camera mount on.

    • @ReedEmbry
      @ReedEmbry  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      You attach it to the tripod's quick release mounting plate. Just like you attach the mounting plate to a camera. This allows it to quickly be released and reattached. You may want to purchase extra mounting plates so you don't have to keep detaching and reattaching the plates to all of your different gear. They sell 2 packs on Amazon here. www.amazon.com/Harwerrel-Replacement-CX-460mini-VCT-D580RM-VCT-D680RM/dp/B07CZBFJTR/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?crid=1A2K87JT26O0N&keywords=quick+release+tripod+plate&qid=1651947912&sprefix=quick+release+tripod%2Caps%2C133&sr=8-3. i am looking for a desk tripod for streaming and meetings, would this be a good buy for that?

    • @ReedEmbry
      @ReedEmbry  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      It doesn't have any sort of articulating arm or anything. The minimum height may still be way too tall to get the angles you need if it's on a desktop. I'd have to see the actual settup to know for sure but my gut tells me that it might not work. I've never done that type of work so I'll admit im not sure how to best advise. I apologize.

      They all come with a plate that detaches from the top portion of the tripod. You screw the plate directly to the hole on the bottom of your camera and leave it on full time. This allows you to easily attach and remove the camera from the tripod using the tripods release latch. It should make sense when you get the two together but feel free to reach out again if you have more questions :)
