With this machine you will need to drop the feed dogs, and work put if the available zigzag widths work for the button you are trying to sew on. (Probably the largest one) Hand wind until you are sure the needle is going into the holes of the button.
Some excellent tips in this. I had completely forgotten about blind hems and I used to LOVE them. Thanks for the reminder.😀

Good idea to have the straight stitch holding the hem while you stitch. It usually moves no matter how many pins are in it.

It really is easy, just do the preparation with that extra line of stitches!
