Thank you for explaining this. Especially showing how to put the fluke on the jig head. I'm still a beginner fisherman and need all the advice I can get. I'm not even good at tying knots yet! I have caught one striped bass this winter (5 lbs) and it was when they were hitting top water lures in the cove. Hope to catch another one soon trying this technique. One thing I've yet to learn is how to find the fish when there aren't birds showing the way.
