Cleaning with tablet: note to push 1x Coffee (not Espresso) to turn on Pre-ground function. Then, only clean water flows through. Best to unplug the machine so the tablet dissolves, does its work for about 15 mins, then replug and again rinse once or even twice following the above Pre-ground rinse procedure above.
I actually would recommend rinsing the brew unit after cleaning it with the tablet. When I rinse it, there is oily dirt coming off the unit.
Great tips! I'd suggested watching this on 1.5 x speed, or the video could be a bit shorter.
How to check the cups counter on Philips Carina? Thank you
Love my Philips Carina but man does make some mold. Gotta stay up on cleaning for sure
Do you fully air-dry the brew unit after cleaning? It's possible that a wet brew unit may attract more mold.
is it nornal that cafiza tablet doesn't desolve completely during cleaning? i have left over tblet in the coffe puck bin...
I'd suggest to unplug the machine for 15 minutes so the tablet can fully dissolve. Then rinse 2x.
Thank you!!
Can you set how coarse you want the cofee to grind? Like finer or coarser?
Read the instructions.
Igen
Open ground compartment to find grinder knob. While grinder is working, push down & turn clockwise for finer grind. Default is medium.
My grinder is not working
How do I take the Brew unit if it's stuck???
Mine just got stuck today. I had to unplug to restart it. When it's stuck like that, it means the brew unit got jammed in the "working process" and you basically just have to completely restart it to get it out of the working process to take it out.
@@kaylamento6937 Kayla, thank you. I also had this problem and your solution worked for me.
These are mostly superficial care tasks. What you ENTIRELY FAIL TO MENTION is how to care for the most aggressive machine part - the grinder. None of the videos I have watched so far even mention its care. Nor do you.
My grinder is stuck right now and I was hoping your "care" video would address this. If you have another video to explain how to fix this, please let me know. You really skipped over the hard one here.
You give no clue how to get the tablets or what they are called.
08:27 He mentions the name and where to get it.
