I finally meet up with Scott, aka @Ratarossa , who I've been trying to film with for around 4 years!
I first 'met' Scott at a car meet back in 2016, when I filmed his black Ferrari 360 "Challenge Stradale". At the time, I didn't know the story behind the car but he reached out to my shortly after to explain all is not quite as it's seems with his CS, and we've been in touch ever since.
I seem to spend a lot of my time filming incredible collections of pristine Ferraris, so seeing someone as passionate as Scott, getting his hands dirty and creating/restoring/building some of his dream cars is amazing!

One of the best channels on you tube, shows that you do not need a spotless example to be a true petrol head, with a great deal of respect to Shmee he wouldn't drive one of his cars if it had a scratch on it or if he did he would feel the need to apologise constantly for it, Scott shows how it should be done.
It’s a bit of a shed, not sure I would like mine like that either, I’m with Shmee on this one.
@@davidoliver7977 different horses for different courses, proves these cars are not and were never intended for uber rich collectors to stuff away in white washed barns waiting until the price goes up before they sell. It's a car at the end of the day, drive it, enjoy it, break it, fix it repeat
@@timbonfield3589 thats the one thing you can’t level at Tim. He drives his cars, all of them and does road trips all over the world and the Nurburgring with them all. Tim also likes to keep his cars in tiptop condition and the same can be said for STG who also uses his cars. Each to their own though. I do admire I suppose Ratrossa for his endeavours and a driver of his cars, but I personally like cars to be looked after as well as driven. He doesn’t seem to care about them. Is that a good thing? Not for me.

Well done Sam! I think any car enthusiast has to love Scott's labor of love. I have followed him since he was working on those two in the narrow little drive. He also did some great videos helping out Samcrac with his 360 in the US. The two of them are kindred souls bringing back great cars in their drive or in Samcrac's case in a field on his farm or in the barn.

Compliments on another great video with Scott. He is an amazing person who has the passion and willingness to challenge himself to think outside the box. Several years ago he purchased from me here in the states his last 355. A car I have since replaced with another 355. I am usually not interested in video production of more than 10 minutes on TH-cam but this one was worth the exception. Keep up the great work my friend

On the 1st April, Scott should book his Rattarossa Testarossa in for a Ferrari Classiche Certification. Not sure if Ferrari would find it funny or simply destroy the car.
So good to have that tour of Ratorssa's cars! Always re kindles my desire for a 360! Now to try and make it happen!🤔

I had 456 GT’s and took my family all over Europe in them. The last one I had - the M version in manual 2003 car was an absolute peach.

Excellent stuff. I have a 360 rebuilt with a lot of stradale upgrades. It’s been used hard on track. This winter I’m gonna give it some much needed TLC !

Sam, genuine question... why do you still want a Challenge Stradale when you’ve pretty much converted your 360 to one? Surely one of the main differences is the exhaust, which you now have. Does the F1 gearbox add that much? Given your Porsche PDK vs. Manual video, I’d say you’d be happier with the manual box than the flappy paddles. Is there some big difference between the two that you can’t really explain, but can feel?

Loved his Stradale Spider project, but I thought he owned it. Seems like he ‘built it to order’. It was to an unknown standard and the owner must be over the moon.
