In today's video I'll take you onboard Monza Garage's 2010 Nissan R35 GTR driven by Emanuele Russo during the Time Attack Italia. The car is equipped with an AMS Alpha 12 turbo kit (GTX3582R) and it was running at 1.8bar (26psi) boost. Best lap: 1.52.595

This is the best sounding R35 I’ve ever heard and I’ve watched countless hours of them.
Not the best sounding. The gtr sounds best at 800whp. Look at GTR 800whp dyno. The greyish silverfish GTr is the best sounding GtR.

They will be much different cars, all the weight distributed low in the chassis will make these cars handle even better if they can keep the weight down

That's due to him trying to steer and shift too, anyhow he was able to use a regular gear stick it would have been so much better and cleaner

It is the Shift Paddles that work to change the gears, they have two types
Fixed and another type that rotates with the steering wheel and looks better than fixed Shift Paddles
It saves that time and makes it easier for the driver in the case of sharp turns without wasting time.

Love it, I would rather moving those flappy to the regular shifter, to me he could have gain a better time if he was was able to use the steering wheel to it's max, he would have avoid that minor skid too
this is why i prefer steering mounted paddles like on my cayman. full control of steering and shifting at all times
Until you do more than a 90 degree turn of the wheel and you've lost your paddles. There's plus and minus to both styles

No. Straight line domination was not the design intent of the GTR. It is indeed meant for the track but the vast majority of owners build them for the drag strip due to the platform able to put the power to the ground so well and the engines being able to handle a substantial amount of hp if built properly.
