flock They're definitely more "core" to skating. Nine club is more of a shooting the shit podcast, and just trying to get to know the skater as a person as a whole. It shows a completely different side to the person more often than not, and gives them a chance to speak their mind without the wierd skate industry pressure. For example Gershon's episode where he dropped so much knowledge on the BS of corporate skate industry. Or Spanky's where he gets real about mental health. I love the bob shirt interviews and never miss them, but they are completely different. I personally don't have a favorite, they're both badass.
@@juvenromero3715 Very well said. I loved the Gershon interview. I just get the feeling that somehow with the persona behind bobshirt he manages to inspire a more sincere form of expression. Maybe it's his very likeable nerdiness about the history or a certain era of skateboarding or the disposition of the people he interviews. I had troubles watching 9 club interviews with the likes of people with to me weird gangsterish machoism. Maybe I just like the format better. It seems more calm and true in my eyes. But yes, they're very different.

The Colvinetics was my favorite World board, rode a bunch of those.Close second was his black light velvet poster board with the Woman and the Tiger, classic. Didnt slide for shit though lol.
Hell yeah...I had both of those boards. Looking back, I totally wish I never skated the felt tiger deck but as a young teen you don’t really think of wall hangers and yes it didn’t slide worth shit until all that felt wore off lol.
In his weekend buzz interview, mike Carroll said he was stressed out to film the plan b video bc he was told at 17 that his retirement had come and that kinda killed his vibe.(to answer meza why was his part so short)
