This is hilarious. I have no idea who you are, but it's nice to see you making the most of your downtime by producing these videos. None of that drinkin' and druggin' and shit. 10:38: Let's take another look at this. You're telling me that there was a rebound and the guy just shoots it? Who are you -- Harry Neal? Also, what was up with the astronauts in the crowd? They seemed to be enjoying themselves.
Thanks! I’m happy you’re enjoying the content. Haha yeah I think this is a more productive use of my time. Hahaha 😂 Kiruna has a space program. Not exactly sure why they were in the crowd but I loved to see it 🧑🚀👩🚀 They brought great energy!
Another really good video. Thanks! May I give an observation: You do a great job on initial set up keeping your glove high. But when you move laterally across the net you drop your arms way back. Keep them forward . Use them to assist the rest of your body to move across crease. You'll move quicker and also by keeping hands forward the shooter has less net to see. Body control!
Thank you! Thanks for the tips. Yeah I definitely have some things I need to work on and fix. Hopefully I can work with a goalie coach this summer to make some adjustments. I agree I need to have better body control and keep better position.
It’s not a simple answer because of how it’s structured as well as the different regions. I will try to explain more in future videos but I think overall Sweden Div 2 is better than Div 2 in Finland.
Nice to see you pick up the dub! You looked pretty sharp all things considered. Way to go. Must say, though, lools like a pretty big jump from Div 2 to Div 1 in terms of quality of hockey. Hope to see ya take the step soon :) keep having fun
Me too! Always nice to get the win! Thank you! I still have a lot of work to do but I felt decent considering everything. Yeah definitely a jump from Div 2 to Div 1. Thanks! Me too! I appreciate the support.
Good video. You should make a video explaining the different tiers of leagues in Sweden as well as the difference between the various teams in Kiruna and which league they play in...such as Kiruna AIF, Kiruna IF, Kiruna City, etc. And do they all play out of the same arena...etc.
Thank you and great idea! I might try to include those topics into a future video during season 3 or maybe I'll make a special video in the summer explaining everything.
@@renaissancerochait plays twice in the video, but first at 16:32 . I use the free music websites too so I know exactly what you’re talking about 😂😂 I thought u were using specifically his outro music to be like “bye, I’m the pro hockey TH-camr now” LOL
Great win! One comment about your studio, when you have the mic on your desk and put your hands down it makes a pretty loud bass sound, might wanna get a boom
Thank you and thanks for the feedback. Yes I’ve noticed during the edit and I will try not to hit the desk as much. I agree that it would definitely help. Low budget here but maybe someday I will get some sponsors and put it in the budget 😅😂 I’m always trying to improve the quality so I’ll definitely look into it 😊👍
He plays in HockeyEttan (Div1) which is a higher league. I play in HockeyTvåan (Div2) Thank you! Happy to hear you're both enjoying the content! Vermont is beautiful! I've driven through many times on my way to visit my family near Boston.
One question - I noticed you're falling or diving forward on a few of your save attempts. Are you trying to dive forward? Would you be better off staying up? Not criticizing, really just curious. You're an amazing goalie. Couple of those goals scored on you were flukes. The tip/deflection, the jamming of the puck when it should have been blown dead. The level of play is amazing. I wonder if it's equivalent to echl in the states. Great vid once again!
I wouldn’t say I’m trying to dive but sometimes it happens when making a desperation save. Ideally I should try to come across in control but it’s not always possible. Some saves require goalies to “break the rules”. Thanks! I appreciate that. Haha no I have some friends who have played/play in the echl and this is not the same level. There’s some good players in the league who have played in much higher leagues who have amazing skills, however, Div 2 (4th highest league in Sweden) is overall definitely a lower quality compared to the ECHL.
I’ll look into that for you 😎👍 It would be a great idea! I messaged my GM to see if it’s possible. If I reach 10K subs I’ll create an online store for Renaissance Rocha/Team Swag.
There’s body checking but not like North America. Different style of hockey here which doesn’t focus as much on hitting. Ice size is also larger so I think there’s more room to skate and avoid the hits.
Thanks and yeah no worries. It’s a fair question. We play Div 2 which is the 4th highest league in Sweden. The higher leagues get much better attendance. I’d say most teams don’t get very good attendance in Div 2 Sweden. I think we actually do alright depending on the game, however, the rink capacity is larger than what we bring in. Also most of our fans are on the side of the camera so you can’t see most of the people at the game. In future videos you’ll sometimes see better attendance at home. I appreciate all of our fans but would love to see more come out to the games 😁
Hey dude, nicely done. I'm curious about the lack of fans. Our jr.b games are packed, our old sr. A team drew a decent crowd. I figured pro hockey would be pretty huge there.
Thanks! I play in Division 2 which is the fourth highest league in Sweden. The top leagues get much more fans. I’d say we usually have more fans but yes they are also mostly on the same side as the camera. We get between 200-700 depending on who we play but it doesn’t always seem like much because the rink is so big. Yeah I’ve played in front of more fans in Jr. A but a lot of the towns that have teams in Sweden don’t necessarily have a very large population. There’s many factors but yes it’s definitely not packed at our games.
17k population city in the middle of nowhere, and this is one of the city's 2 teams playing in the 4th division and they have a 3rd division team. I think the "market" is simply a bit oversaturated.

Love the videos. It is inspiring seeing someone relentlessly chase their dreams. Keep grinding!

Some really nice reads on the plays. Nice to see you in action!

Grats on the W dude. Gotta keep that chest up and vertical on those breakaways, the second you collapse forward the entire top of the net opens up!
Thank you and yeah I agree have some work to do! I need to focus on not overextending myself and keeping it simple as much as possible.
Do you use custom specs on your gear or just stock Axis?
Just stock. I got the pads ok clearance 😁

What a way to start season: Dreamcrushing someone from breakaway. Also 10:50 wasn't offside?
Yeah the first breakaway save was a nice way to start the season :)
way offside

33 Shots
Good job Bro!!!

Gotta just yank and pull as hard as humanly possible. Never stop and try using your brain
