Thanks for the info on electric boilers. I respect your opinion, and admire your work. While I don't have any steam works (boilers/engines), I marvel at your work. I only wish I had a workshop like yours to do such things. Keep up the good work!

In your videos I see that all (at the ones I've seen) of the boilers are fueled by coal, wood, gas, or spirits. This seems to be the most "correct" way of doing things, and I have no complaints. I was wondering if electric powered steam boilers exist. For steaming demonstrations of fixed setups they might be a bit easier. Of course no real life steam plant actually runs that way, but if all you are interested in is steam generation to power the models, it might be worth while. You could just put the cord "behind the curtain" so to speak, and have a nice steam engine running. So, my question: do people do this? I have doubts, as I haven't seen anything like that, but it might be a curious thing. As always, your work is excellent, and I enjoy your videos. Keep up the good work.

I think Jensen in the USA made some electrically heated boilers, but I would rather not go there . . . .

Is it possible to power the steam plant with electricity? Here in north america it would be impractical but in 220v countries could it be done for dirtfree kitchen table steaming?
