That fake out with the bike in the last stock was sooo good. He knew Sparg0 was nervous and would fall for it.
Has nothing to do about nerves, sparg0 has been in these situations before. It’s about reactions. I don’t think gluto has EVER done a bike fake like that so he was just going off of warios throw movement assuming it was gonna go into the air like usual.

Gluto played an immaculate set. His neutral was unmatched. At game 4, he had completely outclassed Spargo. 4D chess with bike 🚲

Gluttony is now my favorite player. I love how he plays and he has been involved in several of my favorite sets. Amazing play from both players but goddamn I was hoping gluto would make it to grands.

@@Winter-cb6gh Actually, when you travel to the other side of the world, that you are jet lagged, that 90% of the competitors you face have a style that is different than the one from your region, and you still win day 1 without dropping a stock and day 2 you win all matches except against Leo, I'd say you deserve every bit of credit you are given.

He got hit out of up b which forced him to tech. He missed it. Whether or not he teched or had the opportunity to doesn’t depend on what he was doing before he got launched at the stage

Nah bro, gluto was just doing really well this time around. He had been grinding in mexico with leo for a month and he had extra confidence from the french crowd.
They played 2 sets at RETA 2022 just 2 weeks ago, with each player taking one set. While Sparg0 nowadays is the better player of the 2, Gluto is completely able to beat him regardless of circumstance. So I don't think Sparg0 was having an off day, he got 3rd place, after all. I think Gluto just outplayed him, plain and simple.

Sparg0 knows better than anyone what will work. If he doesn't have faith in his Aegis then it would not do better. Faith and confidence does a lot.
1: Sparg0's Cloud > Sparg0's aegis
2: Glutonny knows the matchup perfectly (grinds a lot with Leo and also grinded a week before genesis with cosmos)
3: Glutonny defeated Cosmos 3:2 who arguably the better aegis.
4. In terms of matchups both are -1 for Wario so this isn't going to change much.
5. Sparg0 knows the best what character works and when he should switch characters
