Hey Lim! You can use the built-in Zoom accessibility feature on switch (once you activate it, you just have to double tap the home button) to zoom in on specific things and show them to us! No need for a mouse :)
I can feel your hype through your voice when you were talking about all the regions we have not really seen in TotK yet. This is one major thing I am looking forward to, is revisiting all the cool places from BotW and seeing what has changed. I expect the gerudo highlands to no longer be snowy and only really hebra being snowy on the ground. Especially since we have seen the plateau high peak is no longer snowy. Some zelda YT I seen yesterday showed that when link used recall on an otorok in the recent trailer, it is in the eastern circle of lava around death mountain, so I expect death mountain to be completely free of lava, which opens up loads of new areas to explore and have new stuff in it.
I understand what you mean with the game looking empty after the latest trailer. botw always was like a huge sandbox to me, but after seeing all of these bosses, underground, sky islands, the whole crafting system etc. I feel the same. I can't wait for the game to come out and to just sink most of my free time into it and exploring everything it has to offer.
It wasn't so much emptiness for me, I'm thorough but not a completionist, usually I'll finish a game at about 75%. Even for me, the content within the map the started getting repetitive long before I finished.
Thing is BotW entire aspect was based around exploring the wild and uncovering what happened in the past. A lot of which was told via environmental story telling while you explore The design philosophy of TotK looks more like giving us lots of tools to just mess around in a sandbox and also have lots of stuff to do, with very little emphasis on being in the wild.
I will be completely leaving the internet, but not really to avoid spoilers, but that's nice too. I'm not going to have time to be on the internet because I'll be waking up with a controller in my hand, already playing TotK. My joycons will be in my hands at all times.
Hey Lim, great vid. Btw, what do you think about the tears of the kingdom? If Ganondorf has one of the tears and you'll acquire it after you defeat him. What if he is not the final boss?
Interesting thing is that if the boss we saw was gohma then I have a theory that since the last Zelda related game it was in is cadence of hyrule, Which was also the last appearance of Gleeok, I’m sensing a pattern but it’s not likely
i wholly agree with your assestment. If anything, my only concern about TOTK is that it could potentially make BOTW feel obsolete. I wanna love both, for separate reasons but i feel like TOTK does so much to add, fix and improve on BOTW that it might make it feel like a beta version of a full release.
Glad to hear the commitment to the vod channel for totk. Will be nice to have the best of both worlds - playing the opening section myself without spoilers, and seeing your reaction to things as well. Watching vods on twitch is a struggle to navigate sometimes.
not that shot man 😁 Look for the shot where he fires an arrow at that construction with the spinning lasers. It’s the shot right after that one, the one where that giant ice monster comes from underneath link and Tulin.. And pause it. That’s a different outfit. Look at the blue spikes on his head and sleeves. I know what the snowquill tunic looks like 👍
Hey Limcube, I really really want the Tears of the Kingdom Switch OLED, and Gamestop won’t give enough money for my switch and everything that comes with it, they won’t even take my two cases. Do you any good place to sell/trade in my switch and accessories/cases??
Sky Bobbit Wyrm/worm the 4th theory of how the sky fish/whales died… all this is just bringing up more questions/theories that really makes the rabbit hole deeper
Lim, I had the same theory that BotW was the beta for TotK! 🤯 Nintendo sure has kept a lot and still has secrets to show us in TotK. We have just scratched the surface with all that we have seen.
It amazes me how I think it’s likely that we still haven’t seen every new enemy lol I mean they also showed a freaking ReDead, remember that months ago?? Lol
Haven’t watched the video yet, will edit this comment with thoughts once I have, but my friends and I all agree it could be a Gohma of some sort Edit: yup
If I'm being honest I think that it's impressive that they could add all that to the switch in like a bit more than 5 years like how??? I'm so excited like how is 5 years enough to code all that? That's so impressive like take my money Nintendo! I need it! It's also very impressive that Nintendo actually let the developers take more than 5 years to make TotK since it means that it costs Nintendo more money to make like it's so impressive that they could do all that! And the world is so full in TotK like how do you make a world that's so much bigger than BotW more full of content!? And if the time traveling is true I hope that there's another world to explore and if that's true how are they doing that!? With the switch? The switch isn't that powerful like how!? And the story is so impressive like they really took all that criticism and made TotK way better!
Man. As awesome as the trailer was I wish it spoiled fewer things, this boss in particular. Seems like it's inside the giant cyclone which we saw glimpses of in previous trailers / cover art. That just ruined the mystery.
Im going with you... i think botw was a Beta and TOTK is now finish... may that was aonumas dream years ago with Skyward sword, to create this World. Now his dream is true 😢

The idea of all of the giant skeletons throughout Hyrule coming back to life to be bosses in TOTK is terrifyingly exciting.

The part in the trailer when Link recalls the rock is exactly where a lava river was in BOTW I’m really excited to explore there and everywhere really
