There's a saying that goes, "You can't teach an old dog new tricks". Well you certainly taught this old dog a few new tricks. I've been crocheting and knitting over 60 years, and while I've seen others demonstrate the invisible join, slip stitch, and jogless color changes, nobody has explained how to do this with the clarity you have shown. Great speaking voice, no distractions, and clear view of every step you take, this is by far the best of the best explanations. And such an improvement over other methods. Thank you so much. I really appreciate that you showed how to do this with three different common stitches. Your instructions and video are very clear, and you repeated just enough to help me understand, without going so slow that my mind wanders. I also like it that you took the time to show the finished effect - some presenters rush through the technique and don’t really show you how it turns out. Good job!
Excellent. You never went out of frame or out of focus. The lighting was good , and your formation of the stitches was easy to follow by eye. Perhaps you should produce a tutorial on how to produce tutorials. Oh, and the join technique is impressive, too.
Best invisible seam and jog-less color change for crocheting in the round I have seen. Your first hdc or dc in each round looks like a variation of a hanging stitch. Definitely looks more like a real dc, or hdc than a chain, but it is thicker due to the extra stand of yarn. I start each round with a temporary chain 2 using a 6 inch scrap of yarn, then continue with the main color. When I get back to the temporary chain I pick it out and do the last stitch with a long tail yarn, so I can pull the tail through the last stitch and use a needle to finish the stitch as you would do when ending the last round of a cuff or hat. No slip stitch, no chain, no seam. I wish I could do videos as good as yours, to show how I do it. It does leave vertical stands of yarn on the inside and requires starting with a very long tail; long enough to make as many stitches as there are rows in what you are making.
I want to thank you for this well explained and clear instructions of how to do invisible stitches seamlessly. The way you change colors in the round will help to make flawless projects that no one believes you made. Thank you again for sharing your helpful knowledge with us.

I had watched 3 videos prior to this one and this was by far the easiest to understand with changing colors on a loop to make the stripes look straight and seamless. Well done.
Oh my gosh, thank you so much! I'm making hats for charity and I didn't want to keep cutting the yarn, like one method I saw, only have a bunch of tails eventually poking out. Especially after they've been washed. And threading in all that yarn creates raised areas that might be uncomfortable to people with no hair. The other methods I've seen don't really look that great, especially with a dark hat and light stripes. The seam where the color change is, sticks out like a sore thumb. I have spent countless hours...days really, trying different methods. I even tried to come up with a better way myself, to no avail. Lol! This made my year! Thank you! ❤🧶🙏

WOW!!! Just finished making a child’s “cat ears” hat and I don’t like the non-seam SEAM look on the back of it. Will complete sewing on the ears and make another, NON-SEAMed hat!!! WOW!!! Just finished making a child’s “cat ears” hat and I don’t like the non-seam SEAM look on the back of it. Will complete sewing on the ears and make another, NON-SEAMed hat!!! The invisible join is delightful to see and easy to do. Thanks.

This is SO good! I'm a fairly new crocheter and have avoided making any patterns where I see a "sl st, ch x" at the end of each row because I cannot stand the seam that it makes.
