Hey man, great video. Did you feel the need to have to put an anchor with ratchet strap, or any other sort of stabilizing mechanism, to sturdy the blind in case of high winds or if your on uneven ground? Was this easy to do alone? Or would you suggest a friend?
Hey there! Yes an anchor with a ratchet strap would be ideal and added safety. I’d say it wasn’t easy doing it alone and if you have a helper or 2 it would make things go much more smoothly. I hope the best of luck to you!
Hornets have made there way into the blind, just have to make sure you have the spray with you before checking it out for the first time lol no other critters have made their way into it. Just a few hornets.
@gregorymitchell962 I actually just set it up this past week, haven't hunted it yet. The wind though definitely will not penetrate the canvas. It was windy the day I put it out and it was noticeably warmer inside.
great job, You made it look way easier than another video i saw with 4 guys and a tractor
Thanks Mike!
Thanks!
Thanks for checking out the video!
so it looks like the floor is a grate no wood base?
It is a grate and does not have a wood base. However, it comes with a padded floor mat.

Have you had any issues with hornet nests or other critters/insects trying to make a home inside it?

I just set up two with one other guy and it took days so yikes. What did you anchor to the ground with?
The provided rebar most likely
Nice job.
How has it held up?
Would you recommend buying one?
Does it feel sturdy when inside?
Curious too how this worked out…
It has held up GREAT! I left it out all year long too with no issues! Extremely sturdy, I would definitely recommend picking one up.
How does it do in the rain? It's advertised as water resistant, so i was just wondering how it did with rain and cold
Holds up to the rain very well! We’ve actually left it up all year and it’s holding up really good.
I did it all by myself no machinery besides an impact wrench
When you sit in it does any wind come thru ? Just wonder thinking about getting one

There you go! I’m glad it worked out for you! 👍🏼
