1 of the BIGGEST Marketing Scams to hit the Archery world in years. Just a reminder, Prime's 2012 Centroid weighed exactly 4lbs.at 34.25 ATA, w/ an all aluminum riser, 7" brace height & a true 335 fps IBO at literally 1/2 the price of the Form. Seriously folks, STOP falling for these Marketing scams & these Manufacturers will stop ripping off the Customer.

How are the quality of their strings in comparison to ABB, 60x or GAS?
@@whitetailtherapy7908 Great question! I would say they are up there with those big dogs. I’ve set up plenty of prime bows and after the initial setup there’s very little to no string stretch/ peep twist. I have run into one or two instances where the center serving slipped up just a hair though. In my opinion there wouldn’t be a reason to change them, unless of course you want cool colors!
Comment if you’ve ever experienced holding a Prime bow at full draw! ROCK solid! 🤘🏼
Has anyone else seen a bow actually hit the advertised IBO speed? This was a first for me!
Comment if your just learning this now!
This is a great perk!
@ Can’t beat FREE!
The red one is 🔥
DUUUDE! 🔥 That's totally the color I would go with! I would love to see it in person! Thanks for checking out the video!
That's exactly what I ordered the day it dropped! Red riser with 80# black limbs. Also got the new Dialed Pruf for it in black and red. Has a 3-4 week lead time. I'm freaking stoked.
Looks cool!
@@jacQpatriot it’s VERY cool! 😎
Hi, between the two cam draw sizes, the size of the valley is the same or the valley is shorter in standard ones ?
Thanks for watching! The valley is the same between both of them. At least from what I could feel!

Do you guys ship to Canada? Merry Christmas!!
Sorry, we do not ship to Canada.
The new way the made where the sight is mounted is to bring the sights more online with everything. I personally don't like it.
It is kind of odd isn’t it?
Just FYI, folks. After calling Ravin and being number 15 in the queue, I was on hold for 7 1/2 hours and never got to talk to anybody. They don’t answer the phone and they don’t answer emails and it’s the same way at Centerpoint so if you take advantage of one of these deals and have warranty issues, just be prepared to not have any customer service behind you
That’s really odd, they’re usually pretty good with getting back to the customers. Maybe they’re just swamped this time of year! Usually if theres any issues the customer can bring it into the shop and I can get ahold of Ravin with no issue and get the crossbow back up and running in no time!
@ Now that’s a good piece of information for your customers to have. I know both shops that are having trouble getting a hold of Ravin/Centerpoint as well so hopefully you just have a better connection. This has been going on with Ravin/Centerpoint for 5 to 6 months with me and when I read what other people comment on their Facebook page and various crossbow forums, I’m not the only one having these problems by far I understand that they can get busy and I also stay. I understand they might be short staffed, but in all that time, I could’ve at least gotten some explanation from somebody in some manner of why things were moving so slowly and I wasn’t getting any answers. You could get a person on the phone at Centerpoint but the best answer you could get from them was I don’t know For the cost of some of these crossbows, these company should be available at the drop of a hat if you have an issue, especially a warranty issue . This is no way intended to bash your site because I love buying things from you and it’s a very respected place to buy from. And I also understand that if you’re going to sell crossbows, you have to have Ravin as one of your top-of-the-line. It just all goes hand-in-hand with being in business Truth be told I hope that you sell the crap out of them and that your able to handle every claim very quickly. That would be my wish for anyone that sells their product. I just wish the company would show direct respect to their customers and not just their dealers.
I’ve been a Ravin customer for 10 yrs currently own two R10 & R10x during that time I’ve always had very customer support. I do remember one of the staff said when deer season kicks in they operate with a skeleton crew.
I've been shooting BowTech for quite a few years they are good bows
I agree! They are amazing bows with great tuning technology!
i ordered direct from Ravin, unsure of the status of the order since they never answer any emails, total of 3 so far. They may make a decent crossbow but their customer service is beyond terrible.....like most businesses these days. so far I am not impressed at all with Ravin.
That’s really odd, they’re usually pretty good with getting back to the customers. I would even say one of the better customer services out of all the manufacturers.
@@farmsteadoutdoors I am quite frustrated.
Can you use it for feathers ?
The triple tower does not come with the feather arms. You can purchase just the arms separately or get the feather tower jig that will be able to do 2 degree left and 2 degree right offsets for feathers up to 5 inches. farmsteadoutdoors.com/product/bohning-fletching-feather-tower-jig-601010/
You make it look so easy, Thank You!
Glad it was helpful!
Do this video with all 3 weights but do arrow at 400 350 300 gr so we can do that math. Lets see how much more the 80 lbs gains more going down 1oo gr more than the 60 lbs mods. Its 35 fps difference with 433 gr lets see if its 60 fps difference with victory 3dhv arrows at 300 gr
Its the Core without the center mount site.
You got that right!
It's to move center weight more towards the center of the bow for balance.
That makes total sense! Thanks for checking out the video!
And because Mathews told them no mas on that sight mount.
Yes. IMO the crap grip and lack of tuning system was the thing that kept me shooting bowtech. They fixed both so I picked up a lift x yesterday.
There you go! 👍🏼
i love bowtech but this is the ugliest bowtech bow so far...
😂 I hear you! There’s definitely nicer looking bows out there.
I really want the lift rs . But I have the lift 33 with mx2 garmin xero A1i pro cheap stab cheap quiver . Best offer I got was $1700 for my lift 33 . I don’t think I can get the rs and a mx2 with 1700 bucks so I’m debating it hard
Thanks for checking out the video! The lift 33 is a rock solid bow! I’d have a hard time letting it go if I was you!
Yeah definitely not trading in the whole package I might change the bare bow after I shoot my 33 against the rs and see if there’s a big speed difference. If there not definitely fell short but the rx9 fell short big time I can’t tell a difference between the rx8 and rx9
Kinda disappointing… that huge bow and low speeds compared to the revolt .. especially with Mathew’s new line idk bowtech could have probably done a lil more …. I love my revolt xl but idk bout these 2025 bows
Dude, the revolt xl rocks!
I’m ordering one. Looking forward to a light and compact hunting bow. So glad this accommodates my 30.5” draw length.
Nice! You’re going to love it!
I’m still on the V3X 33, and this is the first model to make me consider going for it. Would be nice to have the LST system. V3X would make a great backup/3D bow. I do have a TRX 40 that I shoot indoor and 3D with… but then I could keep that dedicated to indoor. I’m talking myself into it 😂
There’s no such thing as too many bows! 😂
it would be really nice if Bow Tech would make a crossbow
Stryker crossbows and excalibur crossbows are part of the Bowtech family!
Could you stop slapping the box?
Thanks for checking out the video!
Hopefully they come out with more bows at the ata
There might be some special release like the Honor, but we'll have to wait and see!
@ yes we will see. It hard to come out with a new bow every year. Not much else they can do to make them better..
Cant believe that got rid of the center mass sight.
Back to mounting sights on outside of bow again. Mathews must have put another whoopin on them for stealing again lol
😂 Exactly! But they changed up the center mass sight where everything is still in line with the riser.
@ oh no doubt. Bowtech is still an amazing bow.
You got that right! I still think they have one of the best tuning systems out there.
34” ATA with a 6.5-7” brace! 🔥
Heck yeah!
Comment if you want to see me do full reviews on these new bows!
Excited to see the reviews on each bow!

are those xero shoes or what?
Vivobarefoot shoes! They're amazing!
@farmsteadoutdoors thanks, I like those. I had some vivobarefone a Few years but they didn't look as good as these onrs.
@@GrandmasterHobbyist yeah, I liked these ones so much that I also picked up a black pair! The exact model is the Primus lite 3 but it looks like they have a 3.5 version now.
@farmsteadoutdoors ok cool thanks, I'll check them out. Good video
Tooo expensive!!
They’re not cheap, but they are really nice!
Is it worth upgrading to the new Mathews Lift X?? Let's hear it!
For my Ten Point I use my teeth. I don’t usr plyers if I use my teeth. I use my two fingers also and I always look if it twisted. nope it has to line up with the line on your arrow and nock. that tool you are using I use that just to pull the air out, when I’m shooting the Broadhead . with a fuel point, you can pull it out or just two fingers. I guess I’ve never tried that. Every knock is different though if you pull the whole damn thing will come out.
The teeth trick can work but you just have to make sure everything is lined up and it already sounds like you're on top of that! So thats good!
@ well one thing with Ten Point the aluminum inserts have a groove for lining up your knock. But you don’t want to twist them left or right because it could hurt the work of a lighter knock.
@ kind of funny I used to make my own arrows around the country for everybody. I was no company at all. I just do it on the side job besides my regular job and the cop feather I’d always lineup just by my eyeball but then again that was for compounds and you never did glue them in. If you make your own arrows, it’d be nice without the aluminum insert so we can just go ahead and put your veins on or feathers, but for crossbow veins are better. It be easier to line up your aluminum insert with the groove lined up with your cock feather, I mean cock vein
Can you run this system on wifi only?
Great question! It needs to be on a cellular network in order for it to work so wifi only will not work.
my lumenock has all kinds of teeth marks on it. i dont carry an arrow puller when i am hunting. i like my knock to be real tight. i have had looser ones shut off when it hit the leg bone on the opposite side.
If it works, that's all that matters! Thanks for checking out the video and good luck this season!
For sale or demo models?
Currently we only have the demo models but we have a bunch coming in. We are taking orders though!
would be great to get an in-depth review on those new grips!
I agree! I'll see what I can get together!
Let me guess, the most quiet , shock free bow ever made with a 10 year old cam system?
Allways a hater 😂
We’ll have to wait and see!
@@Getdownorlaydownbum I have a Mathews genius. Not a hater. It’s the same crap every year with minor tweaks and more expensive accessories for it
I just pull straight out with my fingers
I know tenpoint nocks you can pull out with your fingers but it’s those ravin nocks that are a little more difficult.
What arrow weight
It's the center punch bolt that weighs 445 grains.
I have several older Alpha lighted nocks but one question, my nocks light up when I try them by bumping them but when they come out of the crossbow they dont work! Im shooting a Tenpoint Turbo S1. Ive shot 4 times this season and lost 3 bolts, 2 were kill shots at 15 yards and 2 were misses but one of the two misses went into a tree and nock was not lite.
That's really weird! Im not sure why they would light up when pushing the nock by hand but when shooting they don't turn on. So is it the older one with the light sticks that you can pull out? Maybe the light stick button is too loose and bounces back off when shot?
@@farmsteadoutdoors Yep its the older style with the sticks and they all seem tight, all the o rings are there etc.
Dang, I don’t know the solution to that issue! We’ve sold a ton of those nocks and I haven’t heard of this before. Either try different nock caps and light sticks or possibly make the plunge to their new alpha HP system. Sorry I couldn’t help more!
So I went with a friend a checked these new crossbows out first hand. First off, I am not a rookie archer with bow or crossbow. I am damn near 50 and got my first buck at 15 with my original Horton Supermag that I still own today. Were these crossbows impressive? Yes. The tech was very interesting. However, I have to say that having demoed them, they have some major design flaws that I have to tell you all about. And if you don't believe me, go ask one of the sales folks at TenPoint. First off, they can be super dangerous. Dude cut off his finger in the pully system a week before I demoed the TRX myself in those elaborate pulley systems when he left his supporting hand's thumb too close to the rail when he fired. Pretend to hold one and just imagine that you didn't tuck your thumb in. These contraptions are also uber high maintenance. They tell you 50 to 100 shots is all they are going to last until you have to replace the string. They even tell you the price to replace one, about $130-160. In 24 years of hunting with the Supermag, I have replaced my string once, just as a precaution. Finally, although the loading process looks simple, if you mess up one crucial step when you have the xbow fully cocked, and you shoot, you will Blow up the clutch in the cocking mechanism. The salesman also told us there were several in the back waiting for clutch replacements because that happened, so don't tell yourself it can't or won't happen. They teach you, as part of the demo, how to wiggle that clutch handle to ensure it's loose before firing, so you don't destroy it. For me, that was a deal breaker. Was it accurate "out of the box". Yes. Was it cool. Yes. Was it an absolute diva of a hunting tool - absolutely. Definitely not the type of hunting gadget I would recommend. Especially for the money they want for these things.
You definitely have some valid points there!
@Cruentus I have a 505 and have had no problems with it for the 3 years I’ve had it. I’ve taken numerous deer and it’s been durable. My 505 has been much faster than the 515. It’s doing 521. With 470 grain hunting arrows I’m at 507 fps. I know I got my hands on a really fast one, But there are many of them out there like that. The 505 looks to be only 1-2 lbs heavier than the 515.
@@douglasborgaro6801 I am happy to hear it. Was just sharing my experience. Would love to hear how many shots your string lasts, and what it costs you to replace it, and when. Turn-around time to fix, etc.
@Cruentus Greetings, I change strings and cables every year whether it looks like it needs it or not. $150.00
Tenpoint makes an arrow puller with a nock tool on the flip side! Works great!
There you go! Ravin makes one for their bolts too! Seems like each crossbow manufacturer makes there own.
