Got the Drift S- free lol. I help on videos and commercials for DRIFT :) All I got to say is it's just a great cam, really like it. It's also good for planes due to it's aerodynamic shape. It's just the screen and the extra tough case that make the cam a bit heavy. I also stripped one out of it's case and now weighs only 20 grams with direct supply from a regulator!
Are you using any Gimbal at all? One thing I noticed and I liked about this camera, was that it didn't have any gelo effect at all, like the GoPro does.
Hey if anyone could answer this it would be great. If you turn it off when you have the settings on the screen, eg. timelapse or whatever, will it return back to the camera mode when you turn it back on again? I only ask this as my screen doesn't work now, and I want to try and stumble onto timelapse without being able to use the screen. My concern though is that I might not be able to get back to the standard camera setting.
Not so huge, still good for a couple of hours on a 32gb card. There's also a high bit rate option which takes it more towards an hour. The S also has much improved low light performance, and as i use it on a bike in winter that's why i went for it.
I wonder if you can track things with it, like a handycam.
I use the Drift on my motorcycle helmet as well as under my Trex 600 ( not at the same time LOL) . Excellent camera. Love it!
hello!
has any input for connecting an FPV system??
thanks!!!!!!

Did you use any damping when you mounted that camera? I did not see any gello effect, looked really great.
Nops, just stick directly on the nose of FX-79 wing
Nice camera! I like it

The video quality is very good but the camera is a little too big, you should maybe can use it with only big aircraft!

Anyone know whats the best and smallest HD camera?
It depends on what you call smallest and the using you want it from it, you should be more specific in your question :)
Under 100$ it's mobius camera all the way ;)
