I wrote this song yesterday and it's not entirely finished, it needs a little instrumental or a kind of 3rd section for it to be complete but here are the lyrics:
Internally screaming
with my fingers on my lips
cross legged the obedient child
the fragile scent of innocence
the brightly clouded eyes
the ears burning to know less and more
the tainted sense of purity
the drowning child within
blood stream blue and cold
biting water on my skin
guilt spattered tear drops leak through prism guilded eyes
yanking back the cursed clock hands to my past
the voices that soiled shameless naivety
and held a pin to the balloon
sparkling eagerness exposed for all to see
and no one was holding my hand
and shrouded cries of shattered lies
are frozen in the breeze
the spoken mind is allowed to be freed
for seconds tick through yearly smiles and the dusty crystals glow
the fractioned light a reminder of ourselves
